Provisional Registration: Upon approval for provisional registration, the Commonwealth of Dominica will issue: 1. 3 month Provisional Ship Station License 2. 3 month Certificate of Registration 3. Minimum Safe Manning Certificate. Permanent Registration: Upon approval for permanent registration, the Commonwealth of Dominica will issue: 1. Permanent Ship Station License 2. 3 FEE SCHEDULE I. FEES REQUIRED FOR COMMERCIAL VESSEL REGISTRATION There are only four basic financial components for initial vessel registration: A. Initial Registration Fee, paid first year only $ 3, B. Annual Service Fee $ 1, $.40/NRT< 25,000 NRT 1 $1, $0.20/NRT>25,000 NRT C. IMO Participation Fee (Annual) $.04/GRT 2 D. Marine Casualty Investigation Fund (Annual) $.02/GRT 3 NOTE: There are caps on the registration fee structure for both initial registration and follow-on annual service fees: All vessels greater than 25,000 NRT have a fixed Annual Service Fee of $1, plus $0.20/NRT. All vessels 1,000 NRT and below will have a first year registration cap of $2, Follow-on Annual Service Fees are limited to a $1, cap, exclusive of the IMO Participation Fee and Marine Casualty Investigation Fee. The Initial Registration Fee, Annual Service Fee, IMO Participation Fee and the Marine Casualty Investigation Fund are all paid in the first year. The Annual Service Fee, IMO Participation Fee and the Marine Casualty Investigation Fund are paid each year thereafter.
