1 Single Market Scoreboard Performance per Member State Liechtenstein (Reporting period: 2016)
2 Transposition and Infringements It is to be noted that the Single Market acquis applicable in EEA EFTA States does not coincide exactly with that applicable in EU Member States. This situation is due to the time lag between the adoption or abrogation of legal acts by the EU and their incorporation into or deletion from the EEA Agreement. Any comparison of the results from the two different Scoreboards (this one and the EEA EFTA Scoreboard) has to take this difference into account. For more information on Liechtenstein s performance, please see the EFTA Surveillance Authority s Internal Market Scoreboard. Transposition deficit: 0.9% (last report: 1.2%) A reduction since the last report, enabling Liechtenstein to fall below the target 1% deficit level. EEA EFTA average: 1.2% Overdue directives: 7 (last report: 11) with 3 being more than 2 years overdue Average delay: 29.5 months (last report: 22 months) increase since the last scoreboard reflecting that, although Liechtenstein reduced the overall number of overdue directives, it had still not transposed 2 of the directives which in the previous report had been outstanding for 2 years or more; one is overdue for more than 5 years and the other for more than 4 years. EEA EFTA average: 16.9 months Compliance deficit: 0.1% (last report: 0.1%) EEA EFTA average: 0.1% Page 2 of 5
3 Pending cases: 7 (last report: 3) Problematic sectors: Services &ndash other (2) Average case duration: 5.3 months (last report: 30 months) Compliance with court rulings: 12.0 months (last report 12.7 months) Internal Market Information System Performance Lichtenstein continues to perform well. Liechtenstein has dealt with a very small number of requests (3) in a timely manner. Speed in answering requests is well below the EU average. Satisfaction ratings of counterparts, who have responded to the optional survey are very low. Page 3 of 5
4 EURES National provider: Liechtenstein is a member of the EURES network but is not connected to the job vacancy exchange with EURES.
