Board's Responsibility for the Financial Report The Board is responsible for the preparation and fair presentation of the financial report and has determined that the basis of preparation described in Note 1 to the financial report is appropriate to meet the needs of members. The board's responsibility also includes such internal control as the board determines is necessary to enable the preparation and fair presentation of the financial report that is free from material misstatement, whether due to fraud or error. Auditor's Responsibility Our responsibility is to express an opinion on the financial report based on our audit. We conducted our audit in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards. Those standards require that we comply with relevant ethical requirements and plan and perform the audit to obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial report is free from material misstatement. An audit involves performing procedures to obtain audit evidence about the amounts and disclosures in the financial report. The procedures selected depend on the auditor 's judgement, including the assessment of the risks of material misstatement of the financial report, whether due to fraud or error. In making those risk assessments, the auditor considers internal control relevant to the association's preparation and fair presentation of the financial report in order to design audit procedures that are appropriate in the circumstances, but not for the purpose of expressing an opinion on the effectiveness of the association's internal control. An audit also includes evaluating the appropriateness of accounting policies used and the reasonableness of accounting estimates made by the Board, as well as evaluating the overall presentation of the financial report. We believe that the audit evidence we have obtained is sufficient and appropriate to provide a basis for our audit opinion. Opinion In our opinion the financial report of Together SA presents fairly, in all material respects the entity's financial position as at 30 June 2016, and its performance for the year ended on that date in accordance with the Australian Accounting Standards and the Associations Incorporation Act (SA) Emphasis of Matter Without modifying our opinion, we draw attention to Note 3 in the financial report which states that Together SA has received a guarantee of continued financial support and the board believes that such financial support will continue to be made available. Basis of Accounting Without further modifying our opinion, we draw attention to Note 1 to the financial report, which describes the basis of accounting. The financial report has been prepared to assist the association to meet the needs of members and for the purpose of fulfilling Together SA financial reporting responsibilities. As a result, the financial report may not be suitable for another purpose. We confirm, to the best of our knowledge and belief, the following representations made to you during your audit. 1. We have made available to you: all financial records and related data, other information, explanations and assista nee necessary for the conduct of the audit minutes of all meetings of the directors. 2. There: has been no fraud, error or non-compliance with laws and regulations involving management or employees who have a significant role in internal control has been no fraud, error or non-compliance with laws and regulations that could have a material effect on the financial report have been no communications from regulatory agencies concerning noncompliance with, or deficiencies in, financial reporting practices that could have a material effect on the financial report. 3. We acknowledge our responsibility for the design and implementation of internal control to prevent and detect error. We have established and maintained adequate internal control to facilitate the preparation of a reliable financial report, and adequate financial records have been maintained. There are no material transactions that have not been properly recorded in the accounting records underlying the financial report.

4 4. We have no plans or intentions that may materially affect the carrying values, or classification, of assets and liabilities. 5. We have considered the requirements of AASB 136 Impairment of Assets when assessing the impairment of assets and in ensuring that no assets are stated in excess of the recoverable amount 6. There are no violations or possible violations of laws or regulations whose effects should be considered for disclosure in the financial report or as a basis for recording an expense. 7. The entity has satisfactory title to all assets, and there are no liens or encumbrances on such assets nor has any asset been pledged as collateral. 8. The entity has complied with all aspects of contractual agreements that would have a material effect on the financial report in the event of non-compliance. 9. There were no material commitments for construction or acquisition of property, plant and equipment or to acquire other non-current assets, such as investments or intangibles, other than those disclosed in the financial report. 10. No events have occurred subsequent to the balance sheet date t hat would require adjustments to, or disclosure in, the financial report. We understand that your examination was made in accordance with Australian Auditing Standards and was, therefore, designed primarily for the purpose of expressing an opinion on the financial report of the entity taken as a whole, and that your tests of the financial records and other auditing procedures were limited to those which you considered necessary for the purpose. During the year, the Association's work was divided into four key strategic areas, namely: Growing the movement for change Communities of Learning Communities of Action Measurement and Scaling Results Significant Changes No significant change in the nature of these activities occurred during the year. Operating results The net (deficit)/surplus of the association for the financial year amounted to -$258,195; (2015:$333,812). 10 NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 30 JUNE 201E Note 1: Basis of Preparation The financial statements have been prepared on the basis that the association is a non-reporting entity because there are no users dependent on its general purpose financial statements. The finan cial stateme nts are therefore special purpose financial statements that have been prepared in order to meet the needs of the members. The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the Associations Incorporation Act (SA) 1985 and all applicable Accounting Standards as listed below : AASB 101 AASB 107 AASB 108 AASB 1031 AASB 1048 AASB 1054 Presentation of Financial Statements Statement of Cash Flows Accounting Policies, Changes in Accounting Estimates and Errors Materiality Interpretation of Standards Australian Additional Disclosures Note 2: Summary of Significant Accounting Policies a. Income Tax The association is exempt from income tax under Division 50 of the Income Tax Assessment Act b. Cash and Cash Equivalents Cash and cash equivalents include short-term highly liquid investments with original maturities of three months or less, such as deposits held at call with bank and which are subject to an insignificant risk of change in value. c. Trade and Other Receivables At the end of each reporting period, the carrying amounts of trade and other receivables are reviewed to determine whether there is any objective evidence that the amounts are not recoverable. If so, an impairment loss is recognised immediately in profit or loss. e. Revenue and Other Income Revenue is recognised when the amount of revenue can be measured reliably and it is probable that economic benefits with the transaction will flow to the association and specific criteria relating to the type of revenue as noted below, has been satisfied. Revenue is measured at the value of the consideration received or receivable after taking into account any trade discounts and volume rebates allowed. Rendering of services Revenue in relation to rendering of services is recognised depends on whether the outcome of the services can be measured reliably. If this is the case then the stage of completion of the services is used to determine the appropriate level of revenue to be recognised in the period. Grant revenue Grant revenue is recognised in the statement of profit or loss when the association obtains control of the grant, it is probable that the economic benefits gained from the grant will flow to the entity and the amount of the grant can be measured reliably. f. Goods and Services Tax (GST) Revenues, expenses and assets are recognised net of the amount of GST, except where the amount of GST incurred is not recoverable from the Australian Tax Office. In these circumstances, the GST is recognised as part of the cost of acquisition of the asset or as part of an item of the expense. Receivab les and payables in the statement of assets and liabilities are shown inclusive of GST.

11 NOTES TO THE FINANCIAL STATEMENTS FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 30 JUNE 201E Note 3: Economic Dependence Together SA is economically dependent on government funding for the majority of its operatingcos ts. As at the date of signing of the financial report, the Board has no reason to believe that there will bea significant change in the grant funding from the State Government to support the operations of Together SA.

12 STATEMENT BY MEMBERS OF THE BOARD FOR THE PERIOD ENDED 30 JUNE 2016 The Board has determined that the organisation is not a reporting entity and that this special purpose financial report should be prepared in accordance with the accounting policies outlined in Note 2 to the financial statements. In the opinion of the Board, the financial report as set out on pages 3 and 7 : 1. Presents fairly the results of the operations of Together SA as at 30 June 2016 and the state of its affairs for the year ended on that date; and 2. At the date of this statement, there are reasonable grounds to believe that Together SA will be able to pay Its debts as and when they fall due.
