Please visit for more information. The Mitsui Emerging Markets Information Source (MEMIS) is a database for finance and economics researchers. It includes more than 65 databases and is tailored to the needs of academic research in its search capabilities and output. MEMIS includes data on more than 20 countries in emerging markets. Singapore Exchange (SGX) is Asia-Pacific's first demutualised and integrated securities and derivatives exchange. SGX was inaugurated on December 1999, following the merger of two established and well-respected financial institutions - the Stock Exchange of Singapore (SES) and the Singapore International Monetary Exchange (SIMEX). On 2000, SGX became the first exchange in Asia-Pacific to be listed via a public offer and a private placement. Listed on the bourse, the Stock Exchange stock is a component of benchmark indices such as the MSCI Singapore Free Index and the Straits Times Index. The annual reports are complete audited financial statements that consist of: Balance sheet ( asset lines, liabilities and equity lines) Income statement ( lines) Cash flows with notes and explanations (39-64 lines) Annual reports for (for report ) are available on Companies Handbooks (not available on soft copy) that can be bought at SGX e-shop. Corporate Governance Singapore has a corporate governance committee which sets up the code of corporate governance for Singapore s companies. This code will be adopted as part of Listing Manual that mainly consist of board matters, remuneration matters, accountability and audits, and communication with shareholders. Daily share price for all stocks The data are available since 1995 and the price is S$200 for each year.
