National Insurance Company limited (NICL) is a General Insurance Company owned by the Government of Pakistan, working under Ministry of Commerce. The management of NICL is looking for a reputed stationery suppliers for supply of office stationery items. Last Date & Time for Submission of Bids Date & Time for Opening of Bids/Proposals 11/09/ 2018 at 11:00 Hrs 11/09/2018 at 11:30 Hrs 2. Sealed tenders, under Single Stage One Envelope Biding Procedure Clearly Marked as Proposal for supply of Stationery Items is invited from the firms of good repute having Income Tax and Sales Tax Registration to undertake the task under PPRA Rules. 3. Tender documents terms/conditions of NICL along with the scope of work can be obtained free of cost from Administration Department 3 rd floor NIC Building Karachi, on any working day (From Monday to Friday) during office hours. The bid proposal in a sealed envelope should be submitted latest by or before 11:00 hrs on The bid will be opened by the NICL s Tender Opening Committee on the same day at 11:30 hrs in presence of bidder or their representatives who will be present at the time. 4. Each bid should be accompanied by 2% (two percent) Earnest Money of the respected quoted amount in shape of Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of National Insurance Company Limited (Karachi). 5. Late or unsealed proposals/bids will not be entertained. 6. Price Quoted should be inclusive of all applicable Taxes.

2 7. Quoted rates must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of tender. 8. Conditional/or Multi Optional Quotations will not be accepted. 9. The National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of the bid or proposal as per PPRA rules. Interested Firms/Contractors should submit complete profile conversing the following details bidder should submit their proposal in single envelop having the details of Statutory, estimated time to complete the task including their financial quotation. The envelops should clearly be marked as Proposal for supply of Stationery Items. Best quality is to be used. Full name with location of Head Office/Branch Office of firm alongwith postal address, Telephone, Fax, , details of organization/administrative setup and local office in Karachi NICL shall disqualify a firm/contractor if finds at any time that the information submitted by the firm or contractor concerning its qualification was false and materially inaccurate. Bids received by Fax or not be accepted. Each bid should be accompanied by 02% earnest money of the respected quoted amount in shape of Pay Order/Bank Draft in favour of National Insurance Company Limited, Karachi. Tender without earnest money will not be entertained and rejected thereof. All offers should be valid for 90 (Ninety) calendar days from the date of Tender Opening. Clarification if any on technical requirement may be obtained through inquiry from. 5 ..(3).. FOLLOWING TERMS & CONDITIONS ARE APPLICABLE. 1. If the bid contains less earnest money that will not be entertained. 2. The payment of all taxes is the responsibility of the bidder/firm. 3. Bid application must be filled complete and properly, otherwise it will be considered as Non-Responsive. 4. Incorrect information of any sort shall make the firm liable for the debarring from this contract in NICL, even after award of the supply order. 5. Detail of similar items supplied to NICL or other Government Department during last two years. 6. National Tax Number (NTN) and General Sales Tax (GST) Number with copies of the certificate. 7. Pay Order equal to 2% of the bid price as earnest money will be released within 30 days after the award of Work-Order. 8. NICL may reject all bids at the time of prior to the acceptance of a bid. 9. NICL has right to increase or decrease the quantity of bid. 10. NICL shall upon request communicate to any supplier who submitted duly filled bid/tender from the grounds for its rejection of bid but is not required to justify those grounds. 11. The quoted rates shall remain valid for 90 days from date of the opening of the bid. 12. Successful firm shall be bound to complete the task upto the satisfactory and the acceptance by the NICL. 13. Brief Company Profile, Book-let and Brochures alongwith GST and NTN certificates should be enclosed/attached with tender form. 14. Sealed Tender Forms duly completed should reach on or before the specified deadline.

NICL has the right to reject/cancel the contract partially or entirely, if the items(s) are found to be of sub-standard. 17. National Insurance Company Limited reserves right to accept or to reject one or all quotations (prior to acceptance) due to any reason thereof, according to PPRA rule. All PPRA Rules and Govt taxes (in vogue for the time being) are applicable.
