Close Change % Change Diff to 200 % diff to 200 BSE Sensex Nifty Spot Nifty Futures Dow Jones Nasdaq FTSE DAX H.S.I Nikkei Shanghai Positive Negative Unchanged KEY NOTES MARKET OUTLOOK - TECHNICALLY SPEAKING + INTRA DAY VIEWS High volatility continued to drag market to new weekly on fear of default in payment of Government bonds by Greece, Ireland and Portugal. Nifty made a low of 5356 (Our support was at 5354) after opening at 5412 made a high of 5421 (Our resistance was at 5433) to close at 5366 (closed above our support of 5354). Nifty again closed below 5400 for the second consecutive day. Nifty future traded with low volume of 1.33 crores it made a low of 5361 (Our support was at 5351) after making high of 5425 (Our resistance was at 5418) to close at 5380 (Closed above our support of 5377) at a premium of Rs. 14 with Nifty Spot. Volume in cash segment was lower than previous day s volume. Turnover for Cash segment was at Rs. 9,591 crores against Rs. 10, 881 crores on previous day. While In F&O segment Turnover was at Rs. 1, 00,173 crores against Rs.1, 22,990 crores on previous day which was lower by % in cash segment and by 22.77% in F&O segment. Open Interest in Nifty future stood at 4.86 lacs contracts showing a rise of 0.82% over the previous day. Heavy buildup was seen in OI for 5300 CE and 5300 PE. In cash segment, Rs 391 Cr selling was seen by FII and Rs 35 Cr selling was seen by DII. As discussed yesterday, Weak closing of Nifty spot below 5400 was a trigger for the market to fall further. Today, Nifty spot have broken crucial long support at 5374 in closing (23.60% of long term retrenchment from ). While Nifty future is closed above 5376 (which is 23.60% of long term retrenchment from ). Closing below 5376 in Nifty future can head market to test near monthly low of There is formation of rounding top in daily chart of Nifty spot which can drag nifty to test 5328 (marked as A ) level in coming week unless closes above For Intraday trade Nifty future can test 5387 and 5408 which are 2 and 3 respectively. Sell Nifty future around 5389 sl 5416 tgt Buy Nifty future above 5416 tgt 5452.
