3 Beginning to access the Z Net XPress Programme After clicking the Z Net XPress button, a new window will automatically appear on your screen. If the new window doesn t appear, it could be the popup blocker software installed on your computer is preventing the following action. What kind of programs contains "pop-up blocker"? Pop-up blocker is a software program which prevents the pop-up of new windows, while browsing the internet. Here are some examples of pop-up and ad blocker software. 1. Stand-alone software (i.e. Panicware, CleanMyPC, CheckIt 86) 2. Toolbars (i.e. Google, Yahoo, MSN, WebSearch): A pop-up blocker icon will show on the menu bar of an Internet Explorer program. 3. Firewall software (i.e. ZoneAlarm Pro, Norton Firewall) 4. Norton Internet Security 5. Windows XP Service Pack 2 (Internet Explorer update - release impending) To allow new window pop-ups, please follow these steps; A. Google Toolbar Click at in order to change to as shown in the picture below. 1

4 B. Yahoo Toolbar Click at in order to change to as shown in the picture below. C. Windows XP Service Pack 2 1. Click Tools, select Internet Options from the menu bar. 2. Select the Privacy Tab 3. Click Block pop-ups to be blank block 4. Click OK button to exit After unblocking pop-ups, click on the Z Net XPress button. The new window will appear, shown in the picture below and click close at pop-ups Information Bar. 2

5 After that, click This website wants to install the following add-on: ZnetLauncher.ocx from KTZMICO Securities Co., LTD.. If you trust the website and the add-on and want to install it, click here at Pop-ups of Windows Internet Explorer. Then, click Install ActiveX Control and click Install shown in the picture below Remark: The instruction above for accessing first time only. 3

6 Z Net XPress Programme Z Net XPress is our new real time programme developed from Z Net and added many new functions to empower your online investment. On each page, you are free to place orders, to view order status and even catch up the real time news from many sources. Menu Introduction o Stock Watcher Stock Watcher is considered as one-stop-page that provides real-time stock quote, tickers, SET index movement and trading functions. 4

7 1. To view stock information such as full stock name, sector, and sector index and price movement details, simply type in a stock symbol in the stock symbol box as shown below. 2. The box on the left displays the five best bid best offer prices of the stock and on the right hand side it shows the stock volume along with its realtime ticker. 3. You are able to view most active, gainer/loser or most swing stocks and set up your own favorite groups. To view most active or gainer/loser or most swing stocks, simply choose from combo box.(as 1) To view intraday graph of a specific stock in your favorite group, click on the stock symbol and then chart. (as 2)

8 How to create your own Favorite group You are able to create up to 5 favorite groups with 10 stocks in each group. 3.1 To create your own favorite group Click + to add a favorite group. Click - to delete your favorite group. Remark: Maximum 5 favorite groups. 3.2 There are two ways in which you could add stocks into your favorite group. 1) The first way is to type a symbol stock and then click Add or press Enter. To delete it from the list, simply click at on its name and then click Del. 2) The second way is to click on Manage Favorite To add stock in your favorite group To add one stock, simply select a stock and click > To add more than one stock at once, simply select all stocks you want and click >> You are able to search for stocks in each sector and add them to your list, simply click on stock filter and mark all the sectors that you want then press OK. All the stocks in your chosen sectors will appear then click >> to add. Remark: Maximum 10 stocks in each group To delete stock in your favorite group Click at that stock and press < or << or click Clear Click Up or Down to re-arrange position 6

9 4. This part shows stock movement in real time (Ticker). To view stock movement of the overall market, select All in the combo box To only view the movement of stocks in your favorite group, simply select the group name in the combo box. Remark: This section will be blank during market closed. 5. This part is called Order Entry How to place trading order To choose order type, select Buy or Sell. Buy is marked with green and Sell is marked with red. Simply key in stock symbol, quantity and price. There are four conditions for specify Price ; 1. To specify in digit number such as

10 2. To specify in MP condition; Market Price Order (MP): An order to buy or sell a stock at the best price currently available. 3. To specify in ATO condition; At-The-Open Order (ATO): An order to buy or sell a stock at the opening price. 4. To specify in ATC condition; At the Close Order (ATC): An order to buy or sell a stock at the closing price. Remark: Since July 2006 onward, ATO and ATC orders contain first-matching priority over limit price order There are three conditional orders for Validity 1. Day: An order to buy or sell a stock immediately at a specific price on the condition that, if there is any remaining volume unmatched, the remaining volume will be in the queue until all orders will be matched. 2. Fill-Or-Kill Order (FOK): An order to buy or sell the whole ordered volume at a specific price. If this condition cannot be met, the order is revoked. 3. Immediate-Or-Cancel Order (IOC): An order to buy or sell a stock immediately at a specific price on the condition that, if there is any remaining volume unmatched, the remaining volume will be revoked. 8

11 Publish Volume (PB Vol) : An order to buy or sell a stock with an ordered volume of at least 10 board lots (mostly 1,000 shares) while also specifying the equal amounts of the ordered volume to be published in the ARMS. When the published portion of the ordered volume is executed, the next remaining portion is placed in the queue until the whole ordered volume has been executed. NVDR (Non-Voting Depository Receipt): Foreign investors are strongly advised to check at NVDR box when buying stocks on the local board as the foreign investors will be entitled to all financial benefits such as dividend, issue rights and so on. Please input your Pin ID before clicking on Send to send the order. Save Pin option: You can check at the Save box to speed up your order placing time. Remark: If you close the Z Net XPress programme or leave your screen on without doing any activities for 5 minutes, the system will automatically remove your PI N ID. As a result, you have to enter your PIN ID again. This is in line with the regulation issued by the Stock Exchange of Thailand concerning the Time Out for Saving PIN effective by June 26, To speed up your order placing time, check at the Don t Show Confirm box otherwise the system will automatically ask you to reconfirm your order again. You can simply speed up the trading process of stocks in your favorite group. By clicking on the current bid or offer prices from the favorite section, the price or the stock name will automatically appear in the trading section. 9

12 6. View News and View Order Click View Order to check your order at status box. Below are definitions of symbols shown in the Status column: Click View News to get real time news from SET (as PRS), Reuters and IQ News. How to Cancel Order Click View Order to check your order at the status box. Check at your Order No. (Check on more orders to delete multiple orders at the same time) Then, please input your Pin ID and click Cancel. The status will then change to X as picture below. 10

13 How To Change Order Check at your Order No. Input your Pin ID and click Change. Then, you can change Number of Share and Unit Price. After that, click at Submit as picture below. 7. To view real time movement of SET, SET100, SET50 and MAI along with their market values(x mil. Bt) at the bottom of the page. a. Click on! (Exclamation mark) to pause the index b. 14 o Derivative Warrants This page displays Derivative Warrants information such as real time quote, the Ticker, the five best bid best offer prices, Favorites, and the trading functions. 1. To view Derivative Warrants information such as the name of underlying stock, the issuer company and the real time quote. 2. The box on the left displays the five best bid best offer prices and volumes of Derivatives Warrant and on the right hand side it shows the real time ticker. 12

15 3. To display the five best bid best offer prices and volume of underlying stock (Main Stock). Remark: : To view intraday graph of Derivative Warrants. : To view the main stock information such as Company Report, Company Profile, Trading Information, Stock Information, and Benefit. : To view historical graph upto one year with MA (Moving Average)3 lines. 4. To view Most Active Derivative Value, Most Active Derivative Volume, Gainer/Loser Derivative or Most Derivative Swing, simply choose from combo box To view intraday graph of Derivatives Warrant, click on the Derivatives Warrant and then Chart. 13

16 How to create your own Favorite group You are able to create up to 5 favorite groups with 10 Derivatives Warrants in each group. 3.2 To create your own favorite group Click + to add a favorite group. Click - to delete your favorite group. Remark: Maximum 5 favorite groups. 3.2 There are two ways in which you could add Derivatives Warrant into your favorite group. 1) The first way is to type a symbol Derivatives Warrant and then click Add or press Enter. To delete it from the list, simply click at on its name and then click Del. 2) The second way is to click on Manage Favorite To add Derivatives Warrant in your favorite group To add one Derivatives Warrant, simply select a Derivatives Warrant and click > To add more than one Derivatives Warrant at once, simply select all Derivatives Warrants you want and click >> Remark: Maximum 10 Derivatives Warrants in each group To delete Derivatives Warrant in your favorite group Click at that Derivatives Warrants and press < or << or click Clear Click Up or Down to re-arrange position 14

17 o Sale By Time This page displays stock trading transactions of a particular stock incurred by time, including its price movement and intraday graph. 1. To view Real time best bid and best offer prices as well as the overall volumes. 15

18 2. To view stock fundamentals such as Company Report, Company Profile, Trading Information, Stock Information, and Benefit, simply click on. 3. To view technical Chart with the historical stock information for one year such as prices and volumes along with three Moving Average (MA) lines, simply click on. 16

19 4. To view all executed transactions of a stock incurred by time since the market opening until the market closing. To view more transactions, click on << or < or > or >>. Symbol Meaning S B U Sell order Buy order. Unidentified order which refers to the order happening at the opening and closing period. Remark: Export To save the executed transactions of a stock incurred by time in excel file. 5. To view stock intraday graphs. The vertical line represents prices and volumes accordingly and the horizontal line represents time. 17

20 o Best Bid Best Offer At this page, customers are able to view the current five best bid and best offer prices of up to 10 stocks and their market volumes as well as their tickers. To do so, input a stock symbol in the Stock box and click View. To view Best Bids Best Offers of stock sets in your favorite group, simply choose from the View box. To delete stocks on this page, click Clear All. Click Next to view the stocks on the next page or Previous to go back to previous page. 18

21 o Stock Ticker This page displays three best bid and best offer prices of your input stock name and its volume along with the Market Ticker of both SET and MAI. 1. To show three best bid and best offer prices as well as other related information of a stock. 2. Market Ticker in both markets SET and MAI 19

22 Ticker Filter is an addition function that allows designing your own ticker condition by simply clicking on Ticker Filter. How to set ticker condition To view all transactions occurred in both markets SET and MAI, select All and follow by OK. To set up ticker by price, select Price and then Advanced. Then, specify the condition. To view ticker of a particular stock, select Stock and follow by Advanced to add the stock symbol then click on Add. 20

23 To view only ticker of stocks in your favorite group, select Favorite and then Advanced to choose a group name and specify the condition as prefer. To view ticker of stocks in your portfolio, select Favorite and then Advanced. Then, simply select Portfolio. 21

24 o Market Indicator This page displays relevant market data such as market indices and changes throughout the day. Real time data in this page is divided into 2 categories, Industry and Sector. To view sector listed in each industry, select Industry at combo box and follow by More Info, or simply double click on the industry name below. 22

25 To view stock listed in each sector, select sector at combo box. Click Back to get back to the previous page To view intraday graph of an industry, a sector or a specific stock, simply select the stock name and click Chart. To view SET intraday graph, simply click SET Chart 23

26 o Stock Graph This part mainly displays graphical data such as intraday graph of SET, SET100, SET50, MAI or a particular stock, simply choose from the combo box above or type in a stock name in the symbol box and click submit. 24

27 o Technical Chart ZLiberty Chart displays full chart functions with historical stock information and technical measurement tools such as Candle stick, Bar Chart, MACD. 25

28 o Stock Info This page displays real time data of a particular stock such as three best bid and best offer prices, intraday graph, and stock in play. Stock In Play summarizes the buy and sell volume occurred at each price level. Remark: Export To save the buy and sell volume occurred at each price level in excel file. 26

29 To view stock fundamentals such as Company Report, Company Profile, Trading Information, Stock Information, and Benefit, simply click on. To view technical Chart with historical stock information for one year such as prices and volumes along with three Moving Average (MA) lines, click on. 27

30 o Odd Lot Watcher This page displays odd lot transaction of a stock. An odd lot is referred to a stock transaction that is less than 100 shares. 1. The Odd Lot section shows the current best bids and best offers prices of a stock includes its last trading price on the odd lot board. 2. The Main Board section displays three best bid and best offer prices of the stock along with its price movement on the main board. 28

31 o Big Lot Watcher This page shows big lot transactions of all stocks occurred daily. According to the regulations, a big lot transaction must be equivalent to 1 million shares or worth at least 3 million baht. 1. To display all big lot transactions occurred daily in the market and information such as the price, quantity, value, the current market price and the time executed. Click << or < to view the previous page or click >> or > to view the next page. 29

32 2. To search for the historical big lot transactions of an individual stock. Simply type in a stock symbol in the Stock box, indicate a specific period and click View or press Enter. To cancel or clear information, click Clear. Click << or < to view the previous page or click >> or > to view the next page. o News and SET. This page displays news from reliable sources such as BIZNEWS, IQ NEWS, 30

33 To select source, simple select from the source box. To view news in details, double click at a specific headline. To search for the past news, click, key in a stock name in Stock Symbol box and specify period at News date box before click Search. How to select news headline To view headline news by sector, click on Condition and then Sector before pressing OK. (Figure 1) Figure 1 Figure 2 To view headline news by stock, click Stock. 34 o View Portfolio This page displays your portfolio information such as stock quantity, average cost, market price including unrealized profit and loss based on the market price. Besides, this page also displays the chart of your portfolio and the chart of Market/Cost Comparison of your portfolio. 1. To view details of each portfolio held at KTZMICO such as Internet portfolio, cash or standard portfolio, simply select your portfolio at Account No. box. Click Export to save data. 2. The next row shows your buying limit, cash available, buying and selling value (including commission and VAT) and the net value. 32

This part displays stock quantity, average cost, market price including unrealized profit/loss and realized profit/loss based on the market price. o View Order This part shows your daily buying and selling orders placed to the system. You are able to check your order status at the status column. 1. To show Account No. and Account name. 2. To show all daily orders placed to the system. You may view your order status at Status column. 33

36 Below are definitions of symbols shown in the Status column: o Browse Info This part displays news & information and announcement from SET and our company such as Warrants, Turnover Lists, Derivatives Warrants, and Transferable Subscription Right. 34

37 o Confirm Report 60 days. This part displays the confirm report which is available only for the past o Set Alert The set alert function acts as an alarm to warn users when the price of a stock has reached a specific level, which will appear in the alert box below. 35

38 How to Set Alert Simply type a stock name in the Stock Symbol box and set Upper/Lower price in the Upper and Lower boxes. To add any special note, simply type in details in the Note box and click save when finished or New to set another alert. To cancel any alert setting, check box in front of the stock name and click Delete. o Configuration Display: To design Z Net XPress as your favorite, simply select type of configuration. Startup Menu: To change the main page to your preference page when open the ZNet XPress. Stock: To save stock symbol for sending order. Screen: To adjust the Z Net XPress screen by fitting to your computer screen. Sound Alert: To set your favorite sound alert, click Play to listen. Font: To change the style and size of character Restore Setting: click the button to return to the default setting. o Exit To quit the Z Net XPress programme, click Exit. 36
