3 How To Log Into Webpage?. Input into the web browser Input into the address bar You will then be redirected to CHCF i-futures Homepage.

4 How To Log Into Webpage?. Enter Account no.. Enter password. Select language (English, Traditional Chinese or Simplified Chinese). Select Window Size 5. Click confirm and Login to the website. 5 5

5 How To Hold Fund? After successfully login, the system will automatically inquire if Hold Fund is required. If yes, click Confirm. If no, click Cancel. Select Message Board or A/C Balance to interchange information shown on the interface. Hold fund: To facilitate futures trading, it is recommended to use Hold Fund system to hold sufficient fund for the initial margin requirement, before opening a new position. With reference to A/C Balance to evaluate if hold fund is needed. The minimum requirement in Equity for new position opening would be the initial margin amount of relative products. Successfully hold fund would increase Equity amount.

After submitting order information, the system will display the hold fund confirmation window. Your order information will be shown. 6. 9 How To Dispatch Limit Order Trade Instruction Validity Different option s definitions Day After the order is successfully lodged, the action will be queued in the market until the day-end market close for further action unless the order is modified or cancelled. Fill&Kill When the order is dispatched to the market, depending on the market situation, the order can be partially or fully filled, the remaining order will be automatically cancelled. Fill or Kill When the order is dispatched to the market, depends on the market situation, the order can only be fully filled, unfilled order will be automatically cancelled. Using 0888 to buy Hang Seng Jun 00 expiry Futures contract for example; process are as follows:. Do not select any order type.. Type in or select trade product.. Input price value.. Input the contract amount. 5. Input trading password Click Buy key 6 (If it is a sell order, click Sell key.) Then Order Entry will be changed to Order Preview. 7. Verify all the information on Order Preview 7 are correct, then click the Confirm Buy 8 key (If it is a sell order, click Confirm Sell key), the buy order will be dispatched to the market. If a fault is detected (including dispatching a buy order, the Confirm Sell appears or dispatching a sell order, the Confirm Buy appears), then click Cancel 9 key and re-enter the order information. 6 Clicked Enter product ID Select product ID from the product list Tick to clear information after each order. Otherwise, last trade order data will be reserved, special attention is needed for duplicated order entry. Tick the relevant boxes can lock the information for repeated use. Note: To enquire if a trade is accepted or in progress, client should refer to Order Book and check the order s Status.

10 How To Dispatch Auction Order Trade Instruction Within auction order period Morning 08:5 to 09: Afternoon :0 to :58 Using Calculated Opening Price (COP) to buy Hang Seng Jun 00 expiry futures contract, the steps are as follow: 5 6. Tick Auction Order for placing Auction Order instruction.. Type in or select trade product.. Price is not required --- Auction order will trade at Calculated Opening Price(COP) or be converted into Limit Order at (COP). Input the contract amount. 5. Input trading password Click Buy key 6 (If it is a sell order, click Sell key). Then Order Entry will be changed to Order Preview 7. Verify all the information on Order Preview are correct. Then click Confirm Buy 7 key (If it is a sell order, click Confirm Sell key), the buy order will be dispatched to the market. If a fault is detected ((including dispatching a buy order, the Confirm Sell appears or dispatching a sell order, the Confirm Buy appears), then click Cancel 8 key and re-enter enter the order information. Clicked 7 8 Note: All the auction order are Day instructions. If the auction order is unmatched, it will be converted into Limit Order at Calculated Opening Price (COP) after Open Allocation session.

11 How To Dispatch Stop Order Trade Instruction Assume the Mini-HSI Futures Contracts price for June 00 (MHIM0) is 0888 and the client has already long a MHIM0 contract at If the client believes MHIM0 price drop would be widen when the price drops to In order to efficiently dispatch a sell order to stop loss, client can set a Stop order into the system. The example below shows the steps of setting a Stop sell order with Stop Price at 0780 and Trade Price at ( Stop sell order can offset long position, Stop buy order can offset short position.) A. Click Stop.. Enter or select trading products.. Enter stop price. (E.g.: 0780) A. Enter order price. (E.g.:0770) 5. Enter contract quantity. (E.g. :) 6. Enter trading password Click Sell key. 6 Thereafter, Order Entry will be changed to Order Preview 8. After checking all the information shown on Order Preview 7 are correct. Click Confirm Sell. 8 Otherwise, please click Cancel. 9 ( For Stop buy order,click Confirm Buy key) The Stop sell order will then be stored in the system after order confirmation. When MHIM0 price hit 0780 (the stop price) or below, a order of selling one MHIM0 contract at 0770 (the order price) will automatically dispatch to the market for trade or queuing for trade Clicked A 9 Note: For the Stop buy order saved in the system, a buying order with the order price will be dispatched d to market for trade or queuing, when the latest t marketpricehitorabove thestopprice. Stop orders are Day instructions. 8

12 How To Check Order Status? Click Filter after selecting the filter book, then it will be filtered and show the result according to theselected item. Select one order and click Show History to show the Order History window of that trade. After order confirmation, the order will appear on the order book. Pay attention to the status column, Outstanding and Filled mean order is dispatched to market successfully, Other status are as follows: a. Outstanding The order is queuing in HKFE. b. Filled The contracts of the order is fully filled c. Rejected The order is rejected by HKFE. If necessary, client needs to re-submit a new d. Waiting e. Cancelled f. Pending cancel g. Pending detected from HKFE.. Click Show History to view individual order information. order If stop buy / sell order has not reached the trigger price, it will be saved in the system until the trigger price is matched. Then dispatch to the market. The order is cancelled. The order is pending for cancellation. Confirmation is required from the system for confirmed cancellation. The order is in progress and dispatched to the HKFE system, but no signal is

13 How To Modify Order?. Select the order that needs to be modified in order book, then click Modify. Input the price that needs to be modified. Input the contract size that needs to be modified. Input trading password 5. Click confirm 5 5

14 How To Cancel Trade Order?. In order book, select the order that needs to be cancelled, then click Cancel ;. Then the order input form will automatically change to Cancel Order form;. Verify the information on Cancel lorder form is correct, input trading password ;. Click Confirm to cancel order Check Status in Order Book to check the order is successfully cancelled. If the cancellation is successful, the Status will display Clicked Cancelled 6. 6 Clicked 5 Note: Click Cancel All key in the Order Book, then enter trade password and click Confirm to cancel all outstanding orders and pending orders (All Stop orders).

15 How To Check Successful Trade?. Successful trade orders will display in Trade Book.. click Trade Book or Trade Summary to interchange display windows. Trade Book displays the completed trade and its information for the day. Through Trade Book and Trade Summary window, different trade information can be checked. Trade Summary display the summary of different product information for the day.

16 Other Operation Function Menu There are 7 options to choose from the Function Menu: Transaction History Preference Hold Fund Change Password Margin Requirement FAQ Logout The Function Menu situates on top of the interface, select the required option to check details or submit orders.

17 Other Operation Price Quote Settings Enter product code Choose from a list of products for quote. Price Quote show products market information.. Enter or choose the required product and press Add to add to Price Quote.. In the Price Quote, choose the product and then press Delete to delete the selected product.. Clicking More changes Price Quote interface.

18 Other Operation Hot Ket Settings In Function Menu Setting hot keys with Function Key Setting in Preference for speed ordering. Choose Function Key Setting within the Preference window Function Key select F or F for hot key setting Product select HSI -- Hang Seng Index Futures Contracts MHI - - Mini-Hang Seng Index Futures Contracts HHI -- H-Shares Index Futures Contracts MCH -- Mini-H Shares Index Futures Contracts Month select Current Next Bid/Ask select Buy Sell Price Ref select Best Bid Price -- setting the highest market bid price as reference (use for Buy Order) Best Ask Price -- setting the lowest market ask price as reference (use for Sell Order) Market Price -- setting the latest market price as reference (buy/sell order can be used) Order Type select Limit Order Fill or Kill Fill and Kill Spread select + - and input Basis Point -- Using Price Ref as an indicator and add + or minus - Basis Point to determine the Order Price Quantity set the No. of Contracts per each speed order Information set correctly then click Confirm,otherwise click Cancel

19 Other Operation Preference Settings In Function Menu setup maximum no. of order, default language etc. with Preference in Preference. Preset the limit of buy and sell contracts Preset the default trade quantity of Futures contracts. When the Save trade password function is in force, Trade password have to be provided, after login, for identification and keeping in the system within that login session. Identification will not be required for every trade entry which may enhance trade dispatching efficiency. However, Trade password identification would be required if no order made within designated period of time. Note: Fully understanding and acceptance to the risks and restrictions of using Save trade password function is needed.

20 Trade Record At Transaction History Trade History or Order History can be chosen for checking relevant record. To get information of Trade History and Order History, select specific period and product and click Filter

23 Other Operation - Change Password Select the required password that needs to be changed. Login for logging into account, Trading for order confirmation. Change Login and Trading password in Change Password.

24 Logout Click Logout and after confirmation, the window below will be shown to show logging off has been successful. If re-login is required, click Return to Chong Hing Futures System.
