8 The transition process What can you expect? Subject to legal sign-off and approval by the Trustee of the IBM Australia Limited Superannuation Fund, the transition will occur on 1 November > Your benefit will be transferred to your AustralianSuper Personal account via Successor Fund Transfer you don t need to do anything! > The administration fee will be $1.50 per week ($78pa) > Your existing nominated beneficiaries will transfer to your new account > Your investment strategy will be mapped to the most similar AustralianSuper option > You will receive a new membership number and PIN 8
9 The transition process What can you expect? > If you have existing insurance cover this will be matched in the Personal division at Low Risk rates. > If you don t have insurance cover or wish to increase your current levels, you can apply for; - Death - Total & Permanent Disablement and - Income Protection cover > Any employer can contribute to this account. 9

12 The transition process limited service period During transition, there will be a period of time when online transactions and access to your account will be temporarily unavailable > This period is expected to be from October 15 until mid-december > Investment switches applying to both future contributions and existing account balances can be made during this period by completing an investment switch form > Benefit payments cannot be processed until the final unit prices are declared in late January
13 Communications You will receive At the end of September: > A Significant Event Notice (SEN) from the Trustee of the IBM Super Plan > A Transfer Guide from AustralianSuper In Nov/Dec: > A Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) from AustralianSuper which outlines the features and benefits of the AustralianSuper Personal Plan 13
14 What do you need to do? NOTHING! As the transfer to AustralianSuper is a successor fund transfer, you do not have to complete any forms You may wish to: 1. Complete an Investment Choice form to select your own investment strategy with AustralianSuper 2. Complete a Binding Nomination form Already an AustralianSuper member? > A campaign will be conducted post transition to assist you with consolidating your accounts Investment choice and binding nomination forms are available on the Transition webpage at 14
