1 Effective Dates of U.S. Accounting Pronouncements This appendix was prepared with a calendar year-end company in mind. Therefore standards with an effective date in 2015 have been included since many companies applied them for the first time in 2016, e.g., the first interim or annual period beginning on or after December 15, Standards that do not require adoption before 2017 are highlighted in blue.
