You can customize your annuity by choosing from a wide variety of payout options that best meet your retirement income needs, including joint life options that continue to provide income to your loved one when you pass away. The Prudential Immediate Income Annuity provides periodic payments, but has no account value or cash surrender value, does not permit loans, and does not allow other withdrawals. Costs are factored into the payment amount. 4 A simple strategy to help maximize your income With a single purchase payment of $10,000 or more, the Prudential Immediate Income Annuity is designed to help you maximize your retirement income. You can begin your guaranteed income payments at any time within 13 months of purchasing your annuity. THE PRUDENTIAL IMMEDIATE INCOME ANNUITY PROVIDES: A guaranteed income to supplement traditional income sources like Social Security and pensions A selection of payout options, including payouts for a certain period of time, lifetime income, or income for joint lives Income that is not impacted by market swings One-time ability to access future payments at a discounted rate (available only on the Life with Period Certain payout options and subject to certain requirements) Preferential tax treatment on income from after-tax (non-qualified) assets If you select a Life-Only payout option and pass away before receiving income payments, the annuity may not provide any death benefit. THE PRUDENTIAL IMMEDIATE INCOME ANNUITY A hypothetical example Meet Linda, age 65, who is retiring and seeking immediate income. Linda purchases a Prudential Immediate Income Annuity for $250,000 and chooses the Life with Cash Refund payout option.
