July 1st, 2015: $10.10 for state executive branch workers July, private companies with state service contracts will have to pay their workers at least $10.10 per hour. But that won't take effect until the current contracts come up for renewal.

5 KENTUCKY $7.25 per State Future and Notes July 1st 2015 Louisville minimum wage raise to $7.75 and to $9 by 2017 was upheld by Court. Three Kentucky companies filed a civil suit to block the increase, saying the city did not have the authority to raise wages above state levels. Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear (R) issued an executive order in June raising the minimum wage for employees of the state government s executive branch. Lexington County: $8.20 by July 1, July 1, 2017: $9.15 and July 1, 2018: $10.10 LOUISIANA NONE Federal minimum applies. For a worker without medical coverage, the rate is $8.25 an hour. The minimum wage is automatically replaced with the Federal minimum wage rate if it is higher than the State minimum wage rate. The minimum wage is based on any percentage increase during the one year period of August of the prior year through August of the current year of the consumer price index.
