NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN QUESTIONNAIRE FOR Lound, Ashby, Herringfleet and Somerleyton The future of our villages will be influenced by a Neighbourhood Plan and it is important that you complete this questionnaire to help shape the future development of our area. Over the past 12 months a voluntary steering group made up from residents and Parish Councillors with the support of Waveney District Council and Suffolk County Council have been working towards our Neighbourhood Plan. If the plan is adopted it will become part of Waveney District Council s Local Plan, which is currently out for consultation. This will be used when deciding whether to approve planning applications in the area over the next 20 years. Please fill in this questionnaire; it has been based on issues raised and responses from the community at our consultation day held in both Lound and Somerleyton in November The questionnaire will provide the basis for the Draft Neighbourhood Plan, which you will be able to review and agree later. 3 Instructions: This questionnaire can be completed on paper or online. Not everyone in the household has to fill in the questionnaire the same way, some may choose to use this paper copy, others can complete online. This questionnaire is suitable for up to 4 people in the household to complete. If there are more than 4 people in the household wishing to complete it please contact one of the people below for an additional copy. To ensure everyone s view are captured, each person in the household is allocated a letter A to D. The first person in the household would be person A, the next person B, and so on to person D. Person A puts their answers only into column A for each question, and person B puts their answers only into column B etc. To complete on paper: Please put your answers into the column that corresponds to the Person letter that you have, then pass the questionnaire to the next person in your household to complete their column and so on. Example of question 12 completed on paper 1 for walking? 2 for cycling? 3 for horse riding? In this example, person A thought that for walking and for horse riding were important to them. Person B thought that for cycling was important to them. Columns C to F have been left blank because there are only two people in the household. Your questionnaire will be collected about a week after you receive it.
