It s a simple formula for exponential success! This guide is designed to establish the basics of the Tiens Compensation Plan in a visual, easy-to-understand format. 4 6 WAYS TO EARN 2 1. Customer Commissions earn as you acquire and retain loyal customers. Retail Sales: when you sell products at the retail price you earn the difference between the wholesale & the retail price. Preferred Customer (PC) Sales: enroll Preferred Customers (PCs) in Tiens Autoship Program to receive commissions. 2. Start Up Bonus (SUB) earn a percentage on the orders of those you enroll during the first four bonus weeks following their enrollment. 3. Team Development Bonus (TDB) earn a percentage on your organization volume weekly. 4. Mentor Bonus earn a percentage of your downline s TDBs through check matching. 5. Leadership Bonus Pool earn a percentage on Global Total Network PV (TNPV). 6. Lifestyle Bonuses be rewarded for reaching the highest ranks consistently with the Achievement Bonus and the Luxury Home Bonus. Achievement Bonus: earn a one-time bonus for achieving the ranks of Golden Lion, Director, and Honorary Director. Luxury Home Bonus: earn bonuses for achieving the ranks of Director and Honorary Director. For specific details on how each commission or bonus is calculated, please review the deeper dive section (pg. 8). Each of these bonuses help grow your business, and based on your personal & team efforts, they provide incredible earning potential. Simply put, as you do more, you earn more.

6 HOW TO GET PAID It has never been easier to get paid. There s no need to wait for checks in the mail, because all bonuses and commissions are deposited in your bank account automatically. While bonuses and commissions are earned weekly, monthly, and quarterly, they are paid on the 10th of every month. MONTHLY BONUS PERIOD Monthly bonuses are calculated based on your activity during a Bonus Month, a period of time which starts from the 27th of the previous month to the 26th of the current month. 7 Weekly bonus deadlines are the 5, 12, 19, and 26 day of every month, at 23:59 Mountain Time (MT). These dates mark the end of what is called a Bonus or Commission Week. Weekly bonuses are posted in your Back Office two weeks after the close of each Bonus Week. Monthly bonuses are posted in your Back Office on the 10th of the month following the close of the Bonus Month. Quarterly Bonuses are posted in your Back Office on the 10th following the close of the last month in the quarter. All commissions or bonuses are paid on the 10th of the following month. WEEKLY BONUS PERIOD S M T W T F S SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER You must be an active Distributor to earn commissions. You must have an Accumulated Total Network PV (ATNPV) of 100 PV or hold the rank of 4-Star Distributor before you can to earn commissions. 5

8 RANK ADVANCEMENT At Tiens, ranks are divided into two categories: Basic Rank & Honorary Rank. Basic Rank: Basic Ranks are the first set of ranks and are determined by calculating your Accumulated Total Network Point Volume (ATNPV) and by having a certain number of downline Distributors in your group reach certain volume and/or rank levels. Honorary Rank: Honorary Ranks are the second set of ranks. Like the Basic Ranks, your rank is determined by your ATNPV, downline Distributor volume/rank qualifications, and by reaching certain monthly Total Network PV (TNPV). Common Terms Defined Point Value (PV): PV is the basic unit of measuring sales volume for Tiens worldwide. Accumulated Total Network PV (ATNPV): Refers to the total PPV of a Distributor and all his/her downlines since the day they joined. Total Network PV (TNPV): Refers to the total PV of a Distributor and all of his/her downlines in a Bonus Month. Downline: All Distributors included in a placement tree, no specific tree below a distributor, not enroller. Active Distributor: An active distributor is required to purchase or sell (PC, or Retail) 50PV (Basic Ranks) or 100PV (Honorary Ranks) every 5 weeks. The required PV is based on the paid-as rank for the month and not the life-time rank. 6 The chart to the right specifies the requirements for monthly rank qualifications.

12 1. Customer Commissions Tiens values its customers because they are the backbone of our business and often become the greatest advocates and most enthusiastic Distributors. To help ensure that customers are treated well, Tiens rewards you for sharing our transformative products and provides you with the tools to maintain loyal customers who are excited to talk about why they love the products. 10

13 When you build a strong customer base you will be rewarded in the following two ways: Retail Sales When your customers purchase products at the retail price you keep the difference between what they paid and the wholesale price, which is 15%. Preferred Customer Sales When you enroll Preferred Customers on the Tiens Autoship program, and they process an order, you will receive 5% on all those orders. Example Your retail customer purchases three products (1 ACE, 1 B 3, and 1 Bio Pro 365), an order totaling $ USD. As a result, you will earn a 15% commission of $32.70 on that sale. Example If your Preferred Customer purchases two products (1 B 3 and 1 Bio Pro 365) on their Autoship order, totaling $126.00, then you will earn a 5% commission of $6.30 every month they receive that order. 14 2. Start Up Bonus (SUB) Getting a good start on your business is important, which is why Tiens rewards you for building your team. The Start Up Bonus allows you to start earning income on orders placed by your newly enrolled Distributors. During the first 4 bonus weeks that your new Distributor is with Tiens, you will earn 10 20% on all of their orders. The percentage you can earn increases based on the cumulative PV generated through the new enrollee s account (personal orders, their PCs, and their Retail Customers) per Bonus Week. See the below chart for specific bonus rates Order PV PV* PV 800+ PV Bonus Rate 10% 15% 20% Example WK 1: Jim enrolls Amy on December 2. As part of her enrollment, Amy purchases a Platinum Enrollment Pack for 800 PV. At the end of that Bonus Week (December 5), Jim will qualify to be 12 * If a newly enrolled Distributor has less than 100 PV at the end of a Bonus Week, the Enroller will not receive a SUB. The volume will roll over to the next Bonus Week. Once the the newly enrolled Distributor has reached a cumulative 100 PV, then the Enroller will receive the SUB on the volume.

15 paid on that order at 20% for a total of $ WK 2: Amy then decides to place another order on December 10th for 83 PV. At the end of the Bonus Week (December 19th), Jim will not qualify for a Start Up Bonus on that order, because it does not meet the minimum requirement of 100 PV; however, it is carried forward into the next Bonus Week. WK 3: Amy s friend places a retail order for 38 PV on December 18th through Amy. The 38 PV is added to the 83 PV from Bonus Week 2 allowing Jim to qualify be paid on that 121 PV at 10% for a total of $12.10 at the close of that Bonus Week on December 19th. WK 4: Amy places an Autoship order of 150 PV on December 22nd. At the end of the Bonus Week (December 26th), Jim will qualify to be paid at 10% of that order for a total of $ During Amy s first four Bonus Weeks Jim will have earned $ in Start Up Bonus. 16 3. Team Development Bonus (TDB) In business, there is a theory that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. This means when your team work together to generate revenue, they earn more than they ever could on their own. At Tiens, you re rewarded for this kind of team work on a global basis. Imagine the possibilities while you are sleeping, your global team members are developing their own businesses in places like China, Europe, and beyond. All the while, you are earning commissions and bonuses on the revenue those businesses generate. How it works: At the end of each Bonus Week, the Total Network Point Value (TNPV) or volume in each of your downline legs is determined for each of your frontline Distributors. Common Terms Defined Frontline Distributors: Tiens Distributors directly below you in your placement tree. This isn t specific to enrollment. Downline: All Distributors included in a placement tree, no specific tree below a distributor, not enroller. 14

17 Next, the TNPV in each leg is paired moving from the highest volume leg to the lowest volume leg sequentially. When each leg is paired, the volume from the lesser leg is multiplied by the payout percentage (11% for the first pairing & then 12% for all other pairings). Following the percentage calculation, the difference in the volume (when comparing the larger leg to the lesser leg in the pairing) is then used in the next pairing (the next largest frontline Distributor volume leg). After all the pairings are exhausted, and the final difference in volume is determined, any remaining volume is carried to the following week and placed in the leg which the volume originated from. The percentage paid on this carry over volume will depend on the total volume from the pairing placement of the leg. Example I am a Distributor and each of my frontline Distributor have a team below them. When I add up the volume in their placement tree, it looks like this: ME Jill 60,000 TNPV Cindy 40,000 TNPV Bob 30,000 TNPV Bob 25,000 TNPV 15

18 TO CALCULATE MY BONUS, I WOULD FOLLOW THE BELOW STEPS 1. I add up the volume each of my frontline Distributor downline legs. ME 4. The next step would be to pair the remaining volume from the first pairing (20,000 TNPV) to the next largest frontline Distributor leg total volume. This would-be Bob at 30,000 TNPV. 5. Because this is after the first pairing, the payout is calculated by Jill 60,000 TNVP Cindy 40,000 TNVP Bob 30,000 TNVP Lisa 25,000 TNVP multiplying the smaller volume amount (20,000 TNPV from the remaining volume) by 12%. This give me a total of $2, After I add up the volume in each of my legs, I pair each of my frontline Distributors (one at a time) starting with the Distributor with the highest volume and then moving down to the lowest volume legs. I would start with Jill and Cindy s volume since they have the highest TNPV out of the four frontline Distributors. For each paring, I calculate the percentage paid-out by multiplying the smaller of the two legs volume by 11% for the first pairing and then 12% for all additional pairing. Cindy has the smaller volume total of the two (at 40,000 TNPV), so I multiply that by 11% which gives me a total of $4, After I calculate the payout of the first pairing I then subtract the total TNPV from the smaller volume leg (40,000 from Cindy) from the total TNPV of the larger volume leg (60,000 from Jill) to determine the remaining volume in this case 20,000 TNPV. 6. After I calculate the payout from the second pairing I then subtract the total TNPV from the smaller volume leg (the 20,000 TNPV remaining volume from first pairing) from the total TNPV of the larger volume leg (Bob s volume total of 30,000) to determine the remaining volume from the second pairing in this case 10,000 TNPV. 7. I repeat the steps again until all my frontline Distributors have been paired. The final pairing this week would be with Lisa at 25,000 TNPV and the remaining 10,000 volume from the 2nd pairing. 8. The remaining volume is the smaller of the two for this pairing and so I would calculate the payout at 12%; giving me a total of $1,200.

19 9. Lastly, I would subtract the 10,000 remaining volume from the 25,000 TNPV from Lisa s leg. This leaves me with 15,000 TNPV. Since I don t have any other frontline legs to pair this volume with, it will be carried over into the next week s calculations and added back into the leg in which it was originally generated, which is Lisa s. 10. The final thing I need to do is make sure that none of the bonus totals from any of the pairings exceed $5,000. All bonus pairings cap out at a $5,000 pay-out. This week all my pay-outs are under $5,000, so no adjustments need to be made. 11. My total payout for the Team Development Bonus for this week is the total of all the payouts, in this case $4,400 + $2,400 + $1,200 = $8,000. 20 SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE TEAM DEVELOPMENT BONUS In order to earn commissions on carry over volume from a previous pairing cycle, a Distributor is required to qualify for at least one Team Development Bonus within 12 weeks of the previous pairing cycle. If the Distributor does not earn a Team Development Bonus within the 12 weeks, the volume payout for the carry over volume is forfeit. Caps for total payout are $5,000 per week per pairing. The number of leg pairings that can be paid on are unlimited. If any account within the downline of the frontline leader has less than 100 PV in volume for the week, it will not be included in TNPV for that week s calculation; however, that volume will remain in that leg from week to week until the total accumulated volume is at least 100 PV. At the point in which the volume total reaches 100 PV, it will then be included in the TNPV for that week s calculation. 18 This bonus is calculated weekly.

21 4. Mentor Bonus With the Mentor Bonus, Tiens takes the idea of shared success a step further and rewards you for your leadership and efforts in developing your team members. then matching the Team Development Bonus (TDB) checks of those you have directly enrolled, and their downline members, up to 4 levels deep, at a rate of 5%. 23 SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE MENTOR BONUS Non-qualified levels are compressed to the next qualified level for bonus calculation purposes. All personally-enrolled Distributors are your 1st level regardless of placement in your downline. The Team Development Bonus checks of those in your downline are used as the basis for the 5% bonus calculation up to 4 levels deep. This bonus is calculated weekly. 21

24 5. Leadership Bonus Pool We believe more is achieved through partnership. Once you have joined the Honorary ranks of Tiens your reach is often far beyond your own downline and will affect the Tiens worldwide family. This bonus is designed to reward your for this vision and support. On a quarterly basis, you can earn a pro rata share With a pool share you can earn a portion of a percentage of global, company-wide Total Network PV (TNPV). The higher your paid-as rank, the larger your earning potential. Both your paid-as rank and your own groups TNPV are considered when calculating your shares of the Leadership Bonus Pools. in the Leadership Bonus Pools. 25 SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE LEADERSHIP BONUS POOL This bonus is calculated monthly and paid on the month following the quarter end. This is a cumulative bonus. The higher your paid-as rank, the more shares you will receive. For example: An Honorary Director receives a share in the Bronze Lion Pool, Silver Lion Pool, Golden Lion Pool, Director Pool, and Honorary Director Pool. The shares for each Honorary Pool you earn for each month of the quarter is determined by your monthly paid-as rank. Only Distributors actively qualifying at Honorary Ranks for each month of the quarter qualify. 23

26 6. Lifestyle Bonuses What do you envision for your life? Would you like to have the extra income for a luxury car, a vacation home, or to travel the world? With the Lifestyle Bonuses, any Distributor who works hard to climb the ranks can build a substantial, residual income that can make these luxuries a reality. Achievement Bonus Earn $30,000 USD by earning a total of 12 lifestyle points. You earn points every time you are paid at the ranks of Golden Lion (1 point), Director (4 points), or Honorary Director (12 points). If you achieve the rank of Honorary Director you will receive 12 lifestyle points and will earn $30,000 USD without any additional qualification requirement. We reward you with up to $530,000 USD for consistently reaching the Honorary Ranks. The two components of the Lifestyle Bonuses include the following: Rank Golden Lion Director Lifestyle Points* Honorary Director Achievement Bonus Luxury Home Bonus 12 LIFESTYLE POINTS ACHIEVEMENT BONUS $30,000 USD 24 *Lifestyle Points are earned each time you achieve the Honorary Ranks of Golden Lion, Director, or Honorary Director

27 SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE ACHIEVEMENT BONUS Only Golden Lion, Director, and Honorary Directors can earn the Achievement Bonus. You need a total of 12 Lifestyle Points to earn this bonus. Your points do not expire and can be earned over time. This bonus is paid out the month following the achievement. This bonus can only be earned once. 25

28 Luxury Home Bonus Every time you earn 50 Lifestyle Points you will be rewarded with $100,000 USD, up to $500,000 USD. You can earn Lifestyle Points by achieving the ranks of Director and Honorary Director. 29 SOME THINGS TO REMEMBER ABOUT THE LUXURY HOME BONUS Only Directors and Honorary Directors can earn the Luxury Home Bonus. You need a total of 50 Lifestyle Points to earn this bonus. Your points do not expire and can be earned over your lifetime as a Tiens Distributor. You can earn this bonus up to 5 times, or a maximum amount of $500,000 USD. To receive any of the Bonus payouts of $100,000 USD, you must be paid-as a Director or above once following the achievement. 27

30 GLOSSARY OF TERMS 1. Distributor: A legal citizen of a country or region in which Tiens is legally authorized to do business and has been officially enrolled by an active Tiens Distributor by accepting the terms and conditions of distributorship. A Distributor can purchase Tiens products at a wholesale price (15% discounted from Retail) and can earn commissions by meeting various requirements. 2. Preferred Customer (PC): An individual who purchases Tiens products at a discounted price (10% discount from Retail) through an Autoship order. 5. Sponsor: A Tiens Distributor who is the upline Distributor through the placement tree structure. The sponsor may or may not also be the Enroller. 6. Downline: All Distributors included in a placement tree, below a distributor, not specific enroller. 7. Enrollment Tree: A record of all Distributors that are personally enrolled by Tiens Distributors. An Enrollment Tree specifies who a Distributor was enrolled by and is used in the calculation of some bonuses. 3. Retail Customer: An individual who purchases Tiens products at the retail price. A Enroller: A Tiens Distributor who enrolls others into the Tiens Business Opportunity. B C

31 8. Placement Tree: The record of Distributors and their placement below and or above A other Distributor, or where an individual fits in the overall downline organization. The placement tree specifies sponsor and is not dependent on enroller. For example: When B A enrolls C and places C under their directly enrolled downline B; hereafter, B is the sponsor of C. B would also be considered C C s immediate upline. 9. Autoship Order: An order placed by a Distributor or PC that is automatically processed and shipped on a monthly basis. 10. Sales Volume: Refers to sales activities with a single Tiens account. The types of sales that are included in overall sales volume are as follows: Enrollment packs, Individual orders, Distributor Autoship orders, Preferred Customer (PC) Autoship orders, Retail Customer orders. The numbers associated with the sales activities are referred to as Point Value (PV). 11. Point Value (PV): PV is the basic unit of measuring sales volume for Tiens worldwide. 12. Personal PV (PPV): Refers to the total PV achieved by a Distributor during a Bonus Month/Week under his or her own Tiens Distributor ID. 13. Total Network PV (TNPV): Refers to the total PV of a Distributor and all of his/her downlines in a Bonus Month. 29

32 14. Accumulative Personal PV (APPV): Accumulative Personal PV refers to the total PV generated by a Distributor with his/her own Tiens Distributor ID number since the day they joined. 18. Paid-as Rank: The basic or honorary rank in which a distributor qualifies for during a given Bonus Month and which is used for bonus calculations (when rank is a factor). 15. Accumulated Total Network PV (ATNPV): Refers to the total PPV of a Distributor and all his/ her downlines since the day they joined. 19. Lifetime Rank: The highest rank in which a distributor has achieved. This rank is used for recognition purposes. 16. Bonus Month: Tiens Corporation regards a time period from the 27th of the previous month to the 26th of the current month as a Bonus Month. 17. Bonus Week: A seven day time period that is used in calculation of weekly bonuses. Each Bonus Week is seven days long and closes on the following dates: 5th, 12th, 19th, and 26th. 20. Active Distributor: An active distributor is required to purchase or sell (PC, or Retail) 50PV (Basic Ranks) or 100PV (Honorary Ranks) every 5 weeks. The required PV is based on the paid-as rank for the month and not the life-time rank. 30
