1 Financial report of the ER-WCPT for the year 2017 The financial organisation of the ER-WCPT used two bank accounts and a business credit card in the Sparkasse Köln/Bonn in Germany. The first account is a current account which is used for all the transfers of money (in and out). The second account is used for the deposit of all other money and includes the Reserve and Social Funds. The business credit card (which is only used by the Treasurer) is paid from the current account. The Treasurer is the only person on the ER-WCPT Executive Committee who has access to the bank accounts. The Treasurer provides an updated report to each Executive Committee meeting. All the transactions are described in a double bookkeeping diary with a pre-established plan (Fig. 1). 2 A new accounting system and IT package was introduced in 2016 to make the book keeping easier and more transparent. As 2017 was only the first full year in which the new system was in operation, it was not possible to compare it with the accounts for During this second year (2017) with the new organisation, a comparison with the last years is not possible. Only a partial comparison with the budget will be presented. Figure 2 shows the situation at the beginning and at the end of the year For the current bank account (1020), you can check the start and end of 2017 with documents 4 and 5. For the deposit bank account (1021), you must add the line 1021 with the reserve fund (2900) and the social fund (2910), while the reserve and social funds are included in the deposit bank account. For the year 2017, the total expenditure was ,99 and the total of income was ,64 resulting in a net surplus of ,65 for the year.
