TOTALCOMPENSATIONELEMENTS TheCllege sttalcmpensatinprgramincludesfurmainelements: Cmpensatin Faircmpensatinfrthescpeandbreadthfjbrespnsibilitiesand theeducatin,cmpetenciesandexperiencethatemplyeesbringttheirrles. BaseSalary:Asalaryrangethatutlinestherangefrbasepaydependentn educatin,knwledge,skills,andexperienceftheindividual,takingint accuntmarketcmparatrsandpaypsitining. OtherCmpensatin:EligibleCllegeemplyeesmayreceivepaidparkingn DuglasCllegesites.Thisisataxablebenefit. Benefits Securityandprtectintemplyeesandtheirfamilies. DefinedBenefitPensinPlan:DuglasCllegeisamemberfthePublicSectr PensinPlansandprvidestemplyeesadefinedbenefitpensinplan. Leaves:DuglasCllegeleaveprvisins,includingvacatin,prfessinal develpmentleaveandeducatinleave,fcusnsupprtingwrklifebalance andlifelnglearningandprfessinaldevelpmentfuremplyees.all eligibleemplyeesareentitledtfurteen(14)paidhlidays[i.e.,eleven(11) statutryplusthree(3)cllegehlidays]andpaidvacatinleaveperids[upt six(6)weeks]basednyearsfservicewiththecllege.additinalpaidleave maybeavailablefrpurpsessuchasbereavementr maternity/parental/adptinleave. COMPARATORGROUPS TheCllege scmparatrgrupincludesrganizatinsfrmwhichwemayattractqualified emplyeesandtwhichweareatrisklsingqualifiedemplyees.ourcrecmparatrgrup includespstsecndaryandtherpublicsectrrganizatinsinbc.wherecircumstances warrant,abradercmparatrgrupiscnsidered. 5.
