1 Tina Bobbyn Senior Vice President Consulting Network Services Competitive Activities Regulatory Assistance October 12, 212 Ex Parte Notice Ms. Marlene Dortch Secretary,Federal Communications Commission th Street SW Washington, D.C Re: Investigation of Certain 212 Annual Access Tariffs WC Docket No ;WCB/Pricing No Dear Ms. Dortch: On October 5, 212, Chris Ulmer of ICORE, Inc., and I spoke by phone with Dick Kwiatkowski of the Pricing Policy Division regarding the above-referenced proceeding. A discussion occurred regarding two issues. The first was Non-Recurring Charges. It was discussed that if any Carriers incurred Non-Recurring Charges during the Fiscal Year October 1, 21-September 3, 211, then these Carriers needed to include these interstate charges in their 212 ROR ILEC Rates Worksheet. These are now included for Ntelos Telephone Inc. and Ironton Telephone Company. The remaining four companies had no Non-Recurring Charges for the FY. Also, there were no Non-Recurring Charges projected for the period for any of the companies since demand is decreasing and additional trunks are not being installed. Ntelos and Ironton have filed their attached amended TRPs in order to implement these corrections. The second issue discussed was the projected annual interstate percentage rate of demand change reflected in cell F1 on the 212 ROR ILEC Rates Worksheet for Ironton Telephone Company. An error was found in the calculation of the Tandem Switched Facility and Tandem Switched Termination revenues, where the demand used for both rate elements was overstated. Therefore, Ironton has also included this correction in the attached amended TRPs. The attached TRPs for Ntelos Telephone Inc. and Ironton Telephone Company replace the original TRPs in ICORE s Direct Case in their entirety. Also attached are their certifications that are being refiled due to the change in data. If you have any questions or need additional information, please do not hesitate to contact me. Pursuant to Section of the Commission s rules, this letter is being filed electronically.
