26 EMERGING VS. ADULT MILLENNIALS REPRESENT DIFFERENT POPULATIONS Emerging (18-25) and Adult Millennials (26-33) are in different life stages, different living situations, and express different housing behaviors and needs. Emerging Millennials are much more likely to live with family, are less familiar with the local and state housing market (rental and purchase). Adult Millennials who live at home, are more likely to live in renting households.
