2 Disclosures Disclosures This Investment Analysis Tool uses "Future Value of Money" and an elaborate cash flow model to represent the likely outcome given the variables provided by the user input. The tool makes no implicit or explicit recommendations to the performance of individual securities or otherwise favors specific asset classes or investment strategies. This investment analysis tool does not restrict or otherwise apply bias to the selection of investment options as it does not use specific investments as the basis for its results. All recommendations about specific allocations are the sole discretion of your advisor and are based on his/her knowledge of your financial situation and of your needs. All calculations of historical returns are based on the weighted average of the user-specified allocation in each account. Such historical averages are intended only as reference and should not be used to derive recommendations or imply reasonable expectations or future results. Historical returns are no indication of future performance. The historical data referred to in this tool is for the following asset classes: Returns as of 05/31/2013. Inflation: US Consumer Price Index (CPI). Cash: US Treasury Bill Auction Average 3 Month. Bonds: BarCap US Agg Bond TR USD Large Cap Stocks: Standard & Poor's 500 Total Return Index (w/gfd extension). Mid Cap Stocks: S&P MidCap 400 Stocks Total Return Index. Small Cap Stocks: S&P SmallCap 600 Stocks Total Return Index. International Stocks: MSCI World Ex USA Growth USD. Alts and Other: MSCI World USD. The tool operates on a yearly model assuming that contributions, returns, inflows, and expenses are processed at mid and/or end year (Contributions, Inflows, Expenses: Mid Year; Growth: Mid and EOY; Taxes: EOY). Projections are calculated using fixed or variable returns (as in the case of the Monte-Carlo simulations), for the time intervals specified by the user. Fixed rates are used to calculate the growth of assets and the increases in expenses and incomes. The projections made by the Monte Carlo simulations (if applicable) are based on the Cholesky Matrix. Results generated by the Monte Carlo analysis vary with each use and over time. The results provided by this analysis tool are based on mathematical principles that do not predict or project the performance of an investment or investment strategy. "IMPORTANT: The projections or other information generated by Finance Logix software regarding the likelihood of various investment outcomes are hypothetical in nature, do not reflect actual investment results and are not guarantees of future results."

3 Page 1 of 40 Cover Letter 07/31/2013 Mr. and Mrs. Johnson 1212 Riverview Ln Needles CA, Dear Charles Cameron and Mary, I have prepared this investment plan for you based on what you've told me about your finances and your investment goals. This report is designed to give you an overview of the basic aspects of your financial future. It will help you see your current financial situation clearly and evaluate how well your current investment plan will allow you to achieve your goals. You should carefully review the assumptions underlying this plan. While an exact prediction of your future is impossible, the historical returns of your asset mix can provide you with a framework for estimating future returns. Give careful consideration to the assumed rate of inflation since it too will have a powerful effect on the ability to meet your financial goals. Therefore, it is important that you keep track of your progress. Although some of the material in this report is directly based on current tax assumptions, understanding the tax laws requires professional assistance. The importance of professional tax and legal advice cannot be overstated. Since Finance Logix is not a legal or tax advisor, I strongly urge you to consult your own attorney or tax advisor. Please take the time to understand the many aspects of this plan, especially your financial goals and historical behavior of the asset mix I am recommending to you. My responsibility as your financial advisor is to answer your questions and concerns regarding this most important area of your life, so feel free to contact me to discuss any aspect of the plan. Sincerely, Brian Kobel

The election options considered may not be exhaustive. While substantial effort has been taken to ensure the accuracy of all calculations, we provide no guarantees. Further, this report can not anticipate future changes to the Social Security System, formulae, or claiming rules. This report specifically excludes the following situations: 1. We assume Fully Insured status. If you have not reached fully insured status for retirement benefits, the results will be inaccurate. Election options also must be coordinated with your other retirement planning. The contents of this report when judged in the context of your overall financial plan may not be optimal for your circumstances, as it may cause unacceptable trade-offs with your other investment assets. Please seek the advice of your own tax, financial, and legal advisors before implementing any strategies contained in this report. Tax Advantaged Savings Interview - 3

23 Page 21 of 40 Monte Carlo Simulation Achievable Goal Minimum Maximum Median Chances to run out of money: 0.00% Chances to reach your target: % Projected balance with fixed return: $2,490,161 In this chart the Fixed Return line represents the projected total savings assuming no variation in the returns specified on each account. The Low, Median, and High Return lines represent respectively the 25, 50, and 75 percentile outcomes of the Monte Carlo simulation, which randomize the returns for each year in the plan for each account. Real life involves many factors that could affect the outcome of your savings plan. In order to help analyze the impact of varying returns on your total savings, the software looks at your entire plan (spending, incomes, gifting, goals, pre tax and after-tax contributions) and employs the Monte Carlo model to simulate the unstable nature of the financial markets. The results shown in the chart above are based on random scenarios. In each scenario the engine steps through every year in the plan and adjusts the rate of return of each account based on the historical performance of the individual account s asset mix. By maintaining a separation between accounts during the projections we are able to show a more realistic simulation of market volatility vs. asset depletion. After all simulations are performed, the system evaluates the results as they pertain to your financial goals, and it calculates the probability of success versus failure. According to the simulation for your retirement savings plan, there is a % chance that you will have enough money to last throughout retirement. Discuss with your advisor all of the factors that could decrease your chance of achieving your retirement goals. Note: If you have capital preservation, Monte Carlo percentages may not equal 100%.

24 Page 22 of 40 Retirement Analysis What you have told us so far Based on the information provided by you in the fact finder and during the interview process, the following is a summary of your current situation: Your current combined income is $105,000 /yr You are currently making contributions of $2,205 to various retirement accounts and of $18,828 to taxable accounts. The average combined rate of return of all your investment accounts is 5.81% of which 0.08% is in long term capital appreciation and 5.73% is in dividends. Since the plan is using the advanced tax mode, we cannot compute a tax equivalent rate, as the tax rate will change every year in the plan according to the incomes specified. You expect to retire on 80.00% of your current earned income. All your living expenses and income goals will be inflated by 4.00% per year. Summary of results Based on the information listed above, we estimate that your current savings strategy is sufficient to achieve your retirement goal with a % confidence rate (based on the Monte Carlo simulation). As a result of your hard work the following alternatives may be of interest to you: 1. You specified a desired income goal of 80.00% of your current earned income, but you may be interested in knowing that you can increase that goal to % 2. You could reallocate your accounts to reduce the amount of risk in your portfolio. 3. Perhaps you and Mary may be interested in retiring a bit early. You may consider any combination of these options, and we will be happy to show you the impact of your choices on your retirement plan.
