1 Page 1 of 6 As soon as you are logged in, you will see the default screen, very similar to the one below: This is the default layout of the platform. At the top, you will see several tabs which are clickable and allow for further options: On the left side, you will see a sidebar which shows a snapshot of major markets along with whether they are open or closed and the ability to view major stocks for every exchange: In the middle, you will see a tab called One Stop Trading which is a default quote page:

2 Page 2 of 6 On the right side, you can see a Global Summary including major indices across the world: At the bottom, you can see all your holdings in the Portfolio screen: If you have multiple portfolios with different currencies, there will be a tab for each currency with holdings relevant to that currency. Watch list Let s begin by creating a new watch list and adding instruments to it: Click on Watch List in the main toolbar and then click on Create new Watch List. Enter a name for your new watch list: Once done, you will see your new watch list with no symbols. Type in any stock of your choice such as IBM and you will see a drop down menu including options and other potential symbols with a similar name:

3 Page 3 of 6 Click on IBM and the symbol will be added at the bottom: Let s add a few more symbols: Right clicking on a specific symbol reveals a large set of options: The most important ones include: Buy: Opens a new order entry window with Buy is selected already. Sell: Opens a new order entry window where Sell is selected already. Mini Trade: Opens a small order entry window with fewer details. Add Symbols: Allows you to add new symbols, similar to adding them at the top of the watch list. Graph: Opens an intraday chart window of the selected stock. Time and Sales: Shows a record of transactions taking place along with the price and time. Options Chain: Opens an options chain screen if options exist for a specific stock. Detail Quote: Provides more information than the order screen such as Average volume, Bid/Offer, VWAP among others. News: Shows the latest news for a specific stock. Events Calendar: A calendar for specific events such as Dividends and earnings. Set Alert: Create a price and time alert for a specific stock.

4 Page 4 of 6 Placing an order There are a few different ways for placing an order. You can either click on Trade at the top in the main toolbar then select Buy or Sell or you can right click a specific symbol and decide whether to buy or sell. Let s say you are looking to buy 100 shares of IBM. Click on buy and the order window pops up. Select whether this is a limit order at a specified price or a market order: Specify the quantity: Then decide on the price if it s a limit order: You can also specify the duration (Day or Good till cancelled): Once done, click on Buy and your order will be sent to the exchange:

5 Page 5 of 6 Charts To access the advanced charts provided by Mubasher, right click on a symbol and click on Pro Charts: A new Chart window will open up: Mubasher Pro Charts are very customizable, allowing the ability to select different time frames along with how much data to view. Also the charts include: Over 30 technical indicators Drawing tools such as Trend lines, Fibonacci and Gann levels Ability to plot two different symbols on the same chart View volume data such as Volume on price

6 Page 6 of 6 Account Summary To view your current account summary, click on My Account and click on Account Summary: The account summary window shows the cash and Holdings available as well as remaining buying power: You can also view your positions by clicking on Portfolio under the My Account tab:
