2 Monthly Metals Review METALS TRADING HIGHLIGHTS May 214 Highlights: Average daily volume for May 214 COMEX metal (Gold, Silver and Copper) futures was 259,353 contracts, compared with 369,588 contracts during May 213, a decrease of percent. Average daily volume for May 214 COMEX metal (Gold, Silver and Copper) options was 38,967 contracts, compared with 51,32 contracts during May 213, a decrease of percent. Average daily volume for May 214 Gold futures was 172,911 contracts, compared with 241,468 contracts during May 213, a decrease of percent. Average daily volume for May 214 Gold options was 32,976 contracts, compared with 42,323 contracts during May 213, a decrease of 22.8 percent. Average daily volume for May 214 Silver futures was 42,53 contracts, compared with 53,274 contracts during May 213, a decrease of 21.6 percent. Average daily volume for May 214 Silver options was 5,954 contracts, compared with 8,447 contracts during May 213, a decrease of percent. Average daily volume for May 214 Copper futures was 44,429 contracts, compared with 74,947 contracts during May 213, a decrease of 4.64 percent. Average daily volume for May 214 Platinum futures was 11,4 contracts, compared with 11,66 contracts during May 213, an increase of 3.2 percent.
