2 Greetings - What s New This Year Dear Sir/Madam, We are delighted to announce this year s Astoria Investor Forum 2018 will take place on December 12 th & 13 th. Now in its 17th year, the Astoria Investor Forum is the most well recognized LP conference on Private Equity and Private Capital Investing by institutional investors in Japan. The conference was rebranded in 2011 to include such asset classes as infrastructure, private real estate and private debt. This year we expect to see over 200 attendants where we shall maintain over 2/3 of delegates are of Japanese institutional investors and fiduciary firms who act on behalf of Japanese pension investors. There will be two full days of informative contents for the institutional investor audience, and a lot of networking opportunities will be provided among the attendants. As always we strive to introduce new ideas and new format into the programing. We hope you will like what you see this year: Video Interviews with Influential Speakers from overseas with a use of video conference technology LP Only Seminars will be organized in the early morning each day Improved Ambience: There will be two conference venues where you can sit up close to speakers n a studio with live audience, or sit in an adjacent room where you have more space and tables to put your laptop PCs/tablets or smartphones while viewing the session on a large display projection. There will be plenty of room for networking with attendants as well.
