6 Dr Ruzhen Li, CFA Tom Wiseman, LLB (Hons) Dr Ruzhen Li was previously the Head of Research and one of the founding members of the boutique investment advisory firm LJ Athene Investment Advisory Ltd. Ruzhen completed two first class Engineering Degrees simultaneously in Shanghai JiaoTong University in China. She was then invited to pursue a PhD on Computer Modelling in Biochemistry with Queen Mary University of London on scholarship from the UK Government (ORS) and the University. Ruzhen started her career with Deloitte Private Client Services Limited and completed her CFP and then became a CFA Charter Holder. Ruzhen was handpicked to analyse and co-lead a Management Buyout, which was completed in 2010/2011 and led to the establishment of LJ Athene Investment Advisory Ltd. Ruzhen is fluent in Mandarin and has an in-depth understanding of the culture and a strong business network in China due to her long standing entrepreneurial interests. Ruzhen is Head of Research for Enhance Group. Having graduated in Law from The University of Sheffield, Tom trained as a Stockbroker at Charles Stanley in London managing predominantly UK Equity and Fixed Income mandates on behalf of private clients, trusts and charities before moving to Seven Investment Management (7IM) in At 7IM, Tom built a significant portfolio of private clients by working closely with a broad range of professional advisers in both the UK and offshore jurisdictions. In 2013 Tom became a Partner and helped to establish 7IM s Private Client Team, providing multi asset investment strategies, securitised lending and cash management to a small number of wealthy families and their associated structures. Tom is a Chartered Wealth Manager and Chartered Member of the CISI with a deep understanding of global investment markets. Tom is Managing Director of the London office.

A detailed quantitative and qualitative research process combined with our professional insights allows us to assess investment managers from across the globe, identifying skills and approaches that align with your objectives. Institutional investment portfolios are typically constructed using a variety of complementary investment managers to offer diversification of investment process and management style. Our flexible, independent approach enables us to co-ordinate and structure investment strategies across a broad range of institutions, currency denominations and jurisdictions. We also provide you with on-going advice, bespoke reporting and a tailored review schedule delivered by our experienced London-based team, supported by international expertise provided by our offices in Geneva, Jersey, Cayman Islands and Singapore.

10 We build strong relationships with our clients, founded on an intelligent understanding of your aims, objectives and attitude towards risk. By understanding our clients fully we can offer personalised, finely executed advice. How we work: We establish a detailed understanding of our clients through an extensive evaluation of your investment objectives and undertake a fact finding initiative before drafting an investment policy statement. An investment policy statement formalises your investment requirements and identifies a clear strategy for the management of your investment affairs. Once refined and honed, this forms the basis of your portfolio. Using our detailed quantitative and qualitative manager selection process, we will identify the right investment managers to oversee and deliver each section of the proposed investment strategy. Monitor Portfolio & Investment Managers Research Conduct Investment Objective Evaluation Implement Identify & Select Proven Managers Strategy Create Investment Policy Statement We further refine this selection, working through a shortlist of investment managers and reviewing their proposals in detail to assess their understanding of the mandate. Our preferred investment manager proposals are then formally presented to you before any manager is appointed to ensure that you are comfortable with the proposals and our recommendation. We co-ordinate the investment of clients capital with our chosen managers, then rigorously scrutinise and monitor performance levels on an ongoing basis to ensure that the managers deliver positive results for you. We provide consistent thoughtful advice from the formation of the investment strategy to our regular client update meetings. As part of our role, we continually appraise and assess investment managers and consolidated investment exposures to ensure that the overall portfolio remains suitable and aligns with your objectives.

The three types of Investment Manager Our Manager Selection Process Absolute Return Managers Investment managers that seek to provide a positive or targeted return year on year regardless of stock market conditions. Relative Return Managers Investment managers that seek to provide a favourable return relative to a specific benchmark or risk profile. We monitor thousands of private investment portfolios covering hundreds of different investment managers across the globe which gives us a unique perspective of the Investment Management industry. This insight, coupled with our rigorous manager selection process, enable us to provide evidence - based advice that consistently identifies the most suitable investment solutions for our clients. 14 Traditional investment processes may be built around historical observations and analytical models, but an investment manager s personal flair and a keen eye for the market often account for outperformance compared with their peers. Evaluation framework With this belief in mind we undertake quantitative and qualitative analysis of Investment Managers in equal measure, focussing on four principal pillars: 01 Performance We assess historical performance in a variety of ways to identify a universe of Managers that have consistently outperformed their benchmark and peer group on a relative and risk-adjusted basis over different timeframes and market cycles. 02 Process When we have identified outperforming Managers we critically evaluate their investment process to understand if it is robust, repeatable and best suited to certain market cycles or client types. We only invest in Managers with processes we understand. 03 People Understanding the biographies of Investment Managers and their individual personalities and circumstances is key. We must be satisfied that Managers we employ will be able to consistently deliver performance and service to our clients going forward. 04 Price We review the pricing structure of each Investment Manager to see if they are providing genuine value for money. We always seek to secure preferential fee agreements for our clients, which in itself can substantially improve the net performance of a portfolio.

16 Inherited Assets New Investment If you have an existing portfolio of investment assets for us to review and recalibrate into a new investment strategy, this will often include illiquid investments. We are able to provide pro-active advice on new investment into illiquid structures to clients with fresh capital to invest. This is typically offered within the context of a broader investment mandate. We have access to sophisticated proprietary and third party analytical tools which, in combination with the insight and experience of our team, allow us to evaluate illiquid investments in great detail. If you re a sophisticated investor we can act as a sounding board for your ideas, provide a full review of a particular investment or identify a range of suitable investments based on your specific requirements. We adopt a pragmatic approach to the management of inherited illiquid investments. As consultants it is our role to fully understand the structure and strategy of such funds and provide advice on retention or exit. Unlike many advisers in this area we retain full independence and have no financial ties or incentives in place with any illiquid investment manager. Our aim is to provide objective, impartial advice in the best interests of our clients. Where such investments are retained, either by choice or necessity, we will adjust our proposed investment strategy to complement these holdings. This can be achieved by appropriately constraining the other investment managers employed. On an ongoing basis we will include your illiquid investments in our advisory process so that your overall investment affairs benefit from a coordinated strategy and consolidated reporting. Our position and reputation in the industry ensure that we are aware of the new illiquid investment opportunities available. We also have access to institutional research and news flow on existing products to ensure we remain well informed. When a suitable new investment has been identified we will manage the investment process for you and maintain ongoing oversight of the investment alongside your broader portfolio.
