The San Francisco Administrative Code is hereby amended by adding 12 Section XXX , amending Section , and amending Section , to read as follows: 14 SECTION XXX RECREATIONAND PARKS GIFT FUND. 15 (a) Establishment offund. The Recreation and Parks Fund is established as a category eight 16 fund to receive all private grants. gifts. and bequests ofmoney and property which may be offered to 17 the City and County ofsan Francisco to support Recreation and Park programs and facilities. 19 and Parks programs and facilities with emphasis on citywide and demographic parity. 20 (c) Administration offund. The City 12 Administrator's Office will be the administering department for this fund SEC MAYOR'S FUND FOR THE HOMELESS. 15 (a) Establishment of Fund. The Mayor's Fund for the Homeless is established as a 16 category six fund to receive all donations which may from time to time be received by the City 17 and County of San Francisco for providing shelter, food and other assistance for the 18 homeless. 19 (b) Use of the Fund. The fund is to be used exclusively for the purpose of providing 20 food, shelter and supportive services to the homeless and for costs incurred for promotion of 21 the fund. Funds which are donated for a specific project for the homeless shall be expended 22 only for that project. 23 (c) Administration of Fund. The director of the Department efpuhlic Health Human 24 Services Agency, or his designee, is authorized to administer the Mayor's Fund for the 25 Homeless and to determine expenditures from the fund, in keeping with the original intended BOARD OF SUPERVISORS Page 2

The director or his designee shall report regularly to the Human Services 2 Commission on gifts to and expenditures from the fund, at such time as all expenditures from 3 the department's gifts fund are reported upon Section 2.
