4 INTRODUCTION The company Generali Investimenti Holding S.p.A., or - in brief - was created in 2004 with a fully-paid share capital of 250, It has its headquarters in Piazza del Duomo 16, Milan, Italy. Its mission and specialisation is in particular the development of investments in the Healthcare facilities sector, in the Health sector in general as well as the building of energy generation plants on natural renewable sources. Over the years it has developed a more analytical knowledge of the sector, defining partnership agreements with established entities and acquiring an ever larger capacity in the development and management of investments, mainly in the real estate, energy and innovation sectors. 5 The consolidated experiences have allowed to expand the horizons to develop other types of investments, essentially of a receptive, touristic, commercial, energy and innovation type. In order to guarantee its customers a more complete management of investments, GEI Holding has established (as majority shareholder) the GEI Company Group S.p.A. (with headquarters in Milan, Italy, in via Andrea Doria, 35) as a specialised company for the implementation of works as General Contractor and of the entire range of Construction Management activities. 6 MISSION Today GEI Holding positions itself on the market as a player able to identify and develop investments mainly in such sectors as: Sanitary and Health Care partner Touristic Receptive Energy from natural renewable sources Technological and innovative Commercial Its internal organisation will therefore focus on identifying potential investments, defining their lines of development, together with interested parties and establishing the necessary partnership agreements to ensure the full success of investments. Once this feasibility stage is over, all the planning, programming and implementation, activities will be conferred directly to the GEI Company Group S.p.A. Page 06
