Chemtrol s pipe is completely compatible to Chemtrol s line of polypropylene fittings and valves. Threading polypropylene schedule 80 pipe reduces working pressure to approximately 20 psi. (drainage). Threading polypropylene schedule 40 pipe is not recommended. Larger diameter pipe is available upon request. Please consult Customer Service. These products are not recommended for compressed air or gas systems. Schedule 80 polypropylene pipe packaging: Black 1/2-3/4 - Bundle quantities are shipped in cardboard reinforced tubes. Black Pieces are individually bagged and bundle quantities are strapped with the bundle ends bagged for shipping. Natural PP 1/2-1 1 /4 - Pieces are individually bagged and bundle quantities shipped in cardboard reinforced tubes. Natural PP 1 1 /2-4 - Pieces are individually bagged with bundle quantities shipped in cardboard boxes. Cardboard reinforced tubes may be purchased for less-than-bundle quantities.
