You can show your support for the chapter by purchasing and wearing items with the chapter logo printed or embroidered on them. This store is exclusively for members of the Nittany Bimmers chapter of the BMW Car Club of America. Meet at the Sports Emporium at 10:00 am. We have the track from 10:30 to 11:30. If you are Karting, please come to the Bullenstall afterwards. If you are not Karting, just come to the 12:00. Please sign up on our Website s Event Signup so we have a head count for Lunch. If you do not sign up but find at the last minute you can make it please show up- there will be plenty of food. The Club has many new members who have not seen the most amazing BMW Collection in the USA. Ed has again opened the doors to the Bullenstall to allow all our members to see his collection. This will be a great opportunity for all our members to see old friends and greet the new members. Come out and visit with Ed and your fellow Club Members. Lunch will be provided. 4 1 ST Annual Nittany Bimmer s Autocross By: Devin Madonna July 28th 2012 marked the first Nittany Bimmer sponsored club autocross. An ideal seven-acre lot was rented at the Harrisburg Farm Show complex to accommodate the much-anticipated event. Conditions were perfect for both novice and experienced racers alike to get a taste of autocross style timed racing in a controlled safe environment. The track was designed to offer everyone a great time while showing them exactly what their BMWs were designed to do. In attendance were classics like 2002 s all the way up to late model high-powered M s. The track offered no one car a specific advantage and kept run times dependant on driver input. Because of the wonderful club turnout and positive reviews, the board has already begun planning an early 2013-racing event. Additional cones and supplies are being ordered to enlarge the track and create a more challenging course. We are also looking into different locations to keep a variety to course design. We would like to personally thank all volunteers and participants for their effort and enthusiasm in making this very successful event possible. 4
