(a subsidiary of CITIC Limited) to Singapore Exchange Limited on 14 January 2019:- 1. CITIC Envirotech Secured RMB 807 million in Industrial Hazardous Waste Treatment and Industrial Park Development Project in Wuji County, Hebei Province, China; 2. CITIC Envirotech Secured RMB 149 million Ecological Restoration Project in Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province, China; and 3. CITIC Envirotech Secured RMB 506 Million PPP Project in Dongyuan County, Guangdong Province, China. Hong Kong, 14 January 2019 As at the date of this announcement, the executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Chang Zhenming (Chairman), Mr Wang Jiong, Ms Li Qingping and Mr Pu Jian; the non-executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Song Kangle, Ms Yan Shuqin, Mr Liu Zhuyu, Mr Peng Yanxiang, Mr Liu Zhongyuan, Mr Yang Xiaoping and Mr Wu Youguang; and the independent non-executive directors of CITIC Limited are Mr Francis Siu Wai Keung, Dr Xu Jinwu, Mr Anthony Francis Neoh, Ms Lee Boo Jin, Mr Paul Chow Man Yiu and Mr Shohei Harada.

3 CITIC ENVIROTECH LTD (Company Registration Number: G) =============================================================== CITIC Envirotech Secured RMB 807 million in Industrial Hazardous Waste Treatment and Industrial Park Development Project in Wuji County, Hebei Province, China The Board of Directors ( Board ) of CITIC Envirotech Ltd ( CEL, Group or Company ) is pleased to announce that the Group has secured an industrial hazardous waste treatment and industrial park development project in Wuji County, Hebei Province, with a total investment amount of RMB 807 million. The industrial hazardous waste treatment project is located in the Wuji Tannery Economic Industrial Park in Wuji County and involves the design, construction and operation of a 66,000 tons/year thermal pyrolysis system, a 1,650 tons/year medical waste treatment facility, a 12,000 tons/year physical-chemical waste treatment facility and a 70,000 tons/year landfill. The project will also include investment in a 20,000 cubic meters per day supporting biogas system for anaerobic biogas production to treat cultured manure. The total investment amount for this facility is RMB 532 million and involves a land area of 182,000 square meters. A wholly-owned project company, Novo Ji Yuan Environmental Technology (Hebei) Co., Ltd, with a paid-up capital of RMB 180 million has been formed to undertake the project. The facility comes with a service concession of 30 years. In addition, CEL and Wuji County Economic Investment Co., Ltd. ( Wuji Investco ) will undertake the development project in the industrial park which involves construction of factory space to be sold to tenants at an investment amount of RMB 275 million. A project company, Novo Environmental Ecological Technology Development (Wuji) Co., Ltd, with a paid-up capital of RMB 135 million has been formed to undertake this project. CEL and Wuji Investco will have shareholdings of 80% and 20% in the project company respectively. Wuji Investco is an investment company under the Wuji County finance department. The capital injection of the above investments is from internal resources and bank financing. The above investments have no material effect on the net tangible assets per share or earnings per share of the Company for the financial year ending 31 December 2019.

6 CITIC ENVIROTECH LTD (Company Registration Number: G) =============================================================== CITIC Envirotech Secured RMB 149 million Ecological Restoration Project in Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province, China The Board of Directors ( Board ) of CITIC Envirotech Ltd ( CEL, Group or Company ) is pleased to announce that the Group has secured a RMB 149 million ecological restoration project in 3 townships in Zhaojue County, Sichuan Province. To facilitate the restoration, CEL will undertake the demolition of existing townships, project planning, design and construction of new townships with essential infrastructure and auxiliary facilities, as well as the resettlement of the population into the newly developed townships in Zhaojue County. The ecological restoration project involves a total land area of 566,000 square metres. A wholly-owned project company, CITIC Environment Management (Zhaojue) Co., Ltd, with a paid-up capital of RMB10 million has been formed to undertake the project. The project will commence immediately and is expected to be completed by the first half of This project is part of the China Government s initiative to improve the quality of life for the residents of Zhaojue County, who currently reside on rural land area that lack proper facilities and amenities. The Company will receive a guaranteed return of 14.4% on the project value, which will be backed by a central government grant. In addition, the Company will receive 7% per annum of any amount financed by the Company during the course of the project. 8 CITIC ENVIROTECH LTD (Company Registration Number: G) =============================================================== CITIC Envirotech Secured RMB 506 Million PPP Project In Dongyuan County, Guangdong Province, China The Board of Directors of CITIC Envirotech Ltd. ( CEL, Group or Company ) wishes to announce that the Company has secured a RMB 506 million Public-Private- Partnership ( PPP ) project in Dongyuan County, Guangdong Province. The project involves the design, construction and operation of 75 wastewater treatment plants and related piping networks and the upgrading of 2 wastewater treatment plants in the towns and villages. CEL will also provide ancillary services in waste management. Backed by the Chinese government, this project is part of Guangdong Province's thirteenth five-year environmental protection plan to develop and beautify the villages and townships in Dongyuan by A project company CITIC Environmental Management (Dongyuan) Co., Ltd has been formed by CEL, Guangzhou Environmental Protection Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd and Guangdong Huakun Construction Co., Ltd with shareholdings of 98%, 1% and 1% respectively to undertake this project. The project company has a paid-up capital of RMB 153,032,850. The project is scheduled to be completed by October 2020 and comes with a service concession of 28 years with minimum guaranteed and fixed revenue. The capital injection for the above investment is from internal resources and bank financing.
