Acadian holds million ounces of gold resources at its two main projects in Nova Scotia. At C$0.09 per share, the total transaction value is about S$654,000, corresponding with an initial cost of less than US$5 per gold ounce. The investment will enable LionGold to gain an inexpensive foothold in North America. SINGAPORE, 1 March LionGold Corp Ltd ( LionGold or the Group ), Singapore s only Main Board-listed gold company, has entered into an in-principle agreement to subscribe to up to 6 million new shares in Acadian Mining Corporation, representing about 9.35% of the enlarged issued and paid-up share capital of Acadian. At C$0.09 per share, the total transaction value is about S$654,000 (C$540,000), corresponding with a cost of less than US$5 per gold ounce. The amount will be funded with cash from Group deposits.

2 Acadian is a Canadian company with gold mining assets in Nova Scotia, Canada and is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol ADA. Its two main projects combined hold gold resources of million ounces in compliance with the Canadian NI code. Both have potential for open pit development, as do other Acadian-owned tenements in the area. LionGold is of the view that the proposed investment provides an initial inexpensive foothold in an underexplored gold-bearing region Canada that is consonant with a longer term plan to create a North American Hub of gold mining operations. LionGold has rapidly established itself in the gold mining industry. Since March 2012, the Group has acquired controlling stakes in five gold exploration and mining companies. Primary concessions are in Australia, Ghana and Bolivia and collectively hold more than 5 million ounces of gold resources, of which, nearly 900,000 ounces are classified as reserves.
