2 2 1 One factor in determining which Beer Festival holiday to include in your programme will be the cost per passenger for each holiday. Assuming a passenger loading of 31 for each holiday and using a single-manned 49-seat coach, calculate the cost per passenger for the Prague Beer Festival holiday only. Note: You MUST show all workings. You MUST name each cost. Show your workings and answers to the nearest penny. (12 marks)

3 2 One factor in determining which Beer Festival holiday to include in your programme will be the timings involved, in particular the arrival time at the destination. Prepare a driver schedule for the outward journey of the holiday to a) Prague b) Munich Note: Local times MUST be shown throughout. Start and finish times MUST be given for all activities. 4 3 Dynergh Travel intend to produce a holiday brochure for the expanded holiday programme. 4 The Package Travel Regulations (1992) require certain items of information to be included in the holiday brochure. Relate the information from the case study to these regulations, by detailing SEVEN specific items of information about the Prague holiday that must be in the brochure. Note: Marks will not be awarded for items not specifically related to the Prague holiday or not taken from the case study. (7 marks)

5 5 4 The proposed business expansion and European work will increase passenger numbers and distances travelled. In view of this you wish to review Dynergh Travel s insurance cover. a) Give TWO insurance policies that Dynergh Travel MUST have in place. (2 marks) b) Using the information in the case study, give TWO additional insurance policies that Dynergh Travel should take out, and explain why. 6 6 5 You expect Dynergh Travel to operate more European holidays, using the ferry crossings from Portsmouth, so the intention is to open a new operating centre there. As Portsmouth is in the West of England Traffic Area, a new Operator Licence will be required. a) Give TWO forms that will have to be submitted, in order to obtain a new Operator Licence. (2 marks) b) Give FIVE undertakings that the applicant must accept when making the application for this licence. (5 marks)
