Award-winning Magellan Triton Repair Center with service to over 4,000 Magellan Triton GPS Customers and Users. Announcement:.. Jungle Ghost Enterprises (JGE) today announces a 90-day Warranty Program for the sale of its Magellan Triton and 2000 GPS units. The warranty will apply to "Selected Units" (herein "the unit(s)"). Said Units being " all OEM (herein, "Factory New") and Used GPS units sold of this date to its Worldwide Customers. Our "New in the Box" (NIB) and "Manufacturer Refurbished" products are excluded from our Warranty as they are covered by the Manufacturer Warranty. Page 1 of 6

2 What This Means to You: We have the ONLY MAGELLAN TRITON REPAIR CENTER in the World. As you will find out, Magellan does not repair their Triton units they only replace their Warranted defective units with refurbished units. If you have an "OUT OF WARRANTY" defective unit, or you have purchased a unit from an unauthorized dealer you do not have a Warranty. IF YOU HAVE A WARRANTY, then Magellan will offer to you the service that you can only purchase a Refurbished one, IF AVAILABLE or utilize their "Trade-In" policy. Thus we are unique in that we have inherited the mantle for repairing Triton units. By the Way, ebay units purchased from another user or unauthorized dealer do not carry a Manufacturer Warranty. You have to purchase a Warranty or find a Magellan Repair Center like ours. Who We Are: Welcome to my Special World. My name is "Ed" and I have been a "Survival Tracker" and "Manhunter" for over 58 years. I am involved with Law Enforcement and Search and Rescue (SAR) to this present day. My tracking training started before my teens with my Uncle Frank Buck, an O.S.S. Officer in W.W.II. Under his tutorage, I also trained with the Kachin's of Burma who named me "Dua Ma Rung" -- Mr. Jungle Ghost and with the Bushman of South Africa. I have Tracked around the world in SAR, with the military, and the Nine Tribes of my Native American compatriots as an Instructor and always the "student". Page 2 of 6

3 Over the past ten years my organization has been testing and working with the New Handheld Navigational GPS's. We have been using the knowledge that my company learned from testing of this type of equipment for International Search and Rescue Operations, Military and Law Enforcement Agencies. We supply to our users reliable, accurate and dependable GPS equipment. Our technical advice and support with our testing staff are unequaled in the World and my organization has gained and earned recognition as experts in the Handheld GPS as an effective tool in Tracking and Search and Rescue. We have gained and earned recognition as experts for the Magellan Triton GPS Series... and now we have been engaged to support the new EXPLORIST and 710 GPS Series. All our GPS packages are Reconfigured, Tested and Firmware Upgraded before shipment. We have sold thousands to Search and Rescue and Law Enforcement Organizations, mountain bikers, hikers, geocache specialists, backcountry explorers and mariners. We are proud that our units are used in "life threatening" situations by Trackers - EMS Squads - Fire Departments - and "Ground Pounders" who also have to maintain "crime scene preservation" areas, do "grid searches" and the like. Overview: Concerning the item you are reviewing to purchase, we are offering a 90-day Warranty. This Warranty only applies to Buyers of our Selected Units that have been purchased from Jungle Ghost Enterprises. Our "New in the Box" (NIB) and "Manufacturer Refurbished" products are excluded from our Warranty as they are covered by the Manufacturer Warranty. Our Warranty is available to all our Worldwide customers. How long does coverage last? Coverage lasts 90 days as dictated by the time the unit is shipped to the customer. The coverage does not include "Accident Handling Protection", (herein "ADH"). ADH is described as accidentally damage, Page 3 of 6

4 water damage, case damage, dropped items, display protection panels, Button Boards, LCD and Touchscreen Displays and Satellite Receivers 2. Damage through the use of Power Supplies 2, Chargers 2, Rechargeable Batteries 2 or any other form of external power source whether approved or not by another manufacturer for said GPS is NOT COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY. These devices are known to cause damage to various hardware components including the Motherboard 2 of the unit and Satellite Receivers 2. Accessories and Consumer replaceable parts: accessories and parts that are meant to be replaced by the consumer, such as batteries, memory card(s) are not covered. When does coverage start? Coverage lasts Ninety (90) days as dictated by the time the unit is shipped to the customer. If the unit purchased is received and not as described in our listing you are eligible for a full refund within Seven (7) days of receipt of the item. Return postage is to be paid by the buyer. THE BUYER MUST CONTACT US FOR AN RMA BEFORE RETURNING THE UNIT. (Please note that this applies only to the transaction it is not a product warranty). Our Warranty DOES NOT include cost for postage to return the unit for repair to our Repair Center or returns of the repaired unit to the customer. How much is covered? You are not covered for repairs by any third parties. Please do not try to attempt a hardware repair of the unit yourself as it Voids the Warranty. You are provided with the necessary RESCUE REPAIR SOFTWARE with your purchase to actually repair the unit software yourself. Page 4 of 6

5 History on repairs has shown that 99% of the needed repairs are due to software errors accidentally created by the user. Your RESCUE REPAIR SOFTWARE will resolve these problems. However; if you select to repair the unit yourself and you create an internal software error you will be responsible to pay for the cost for return postage of the unit to our Repair Center and postal costs for returns to you, the original customer. Title of this Warranty is solely for the original purchaser and is not transferable. For repairs: You're covered for one repair 1. This cost represents the maximum value of the Warranty. Exercising said repair would be considered to fulfill the warranty. The following additional items are also excluded from our warranty coverage: 1) Batteries; 2) Finishes and Insulation's; 3) Installations or defects resulting from installations; 4) Any damage caused by (i) shipping, misuse, abuse, negligence, tampering, moisture, liquids, proximity or exposure to heat, magnets, or improper use; (ii) disasters such as fire, flood, wind and lightning (iii) unauthorized attachments or modifications; 5) QVGA LCD Displays 2, Touchscreens 2, Button Boards 2, Motherboards 2 and Satellite Receivers 2 are excluded from coverage by our warranty; 6) Service performed or attempted by anyone other than the Jungle Ghost Triton Repair Center; 7) Any hardware or software product, components or parts not manufactured by Magellan. (We are not responsible for Third Party Software from National Geographic or Magellan Software Map Products.); 8) Any Magellan specifications cited for the product; 9) That the receiver will be free from any claim for infringement of any patent, trademark, copyright or other proprietary right, including trade secrets; 10) Any damage due to accident, resulting from inaccurate satellite transmissions. Inaccurate transmissions can occur due to changes in the position, health or geometry of a satellite or modifications to the receiver that may be required due to Page 5 of 6

6 any change in the GPS. (Note: Magellan GPS receivers use GPS or GPS + GLONASS to obtain position, velocity and time information. GPS is operated by the U. S. Government and GLONASS is the Global Navigation Satellite System of the Russian Federation, which are solely responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of their systems. Certain conditions can cause inaccuracies, which could require modifications to the receiver. Examples of such conditions included but are not limited to changes in the GPS or GLONASS transmission.); 11) Opening, dismantling or repairing of the product by anyone other than Jungle Ghost Enterprises Triton Repair Center will void this warranty. Coverage Amount: The full amount of coverage by this Agreement is Seventy-Five ($75.00 USD) Dollars and correlated to the cost of a single repair 1 as stipulated in our Agreement and is declared as the maximum value of your warranty. This Warranty is NOT A SALEABLE ITEM AND CANNOT BE TRANSFERRED, SUBLICENSED OR HAVE ANY VALUE AS A BARTER OR IN A SUBSEQUENT TRANSACTION OF THE PRODUCT. LIMIT OF LIABILITY: WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE OF ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPERTY DAMAGE, LOST TIME, OR LOST DATA RESULTING FROM FAILURE OF ANY PRODUCT OR EQUIPMENT OR DELAYS IN SERVICE OR THE INABILITY TO RENDER SERVICE.
