Reading Giveaway ( Sweepstakes ) you must be a citizen or legal resident of the 50 U.S. and D.C. and be the parent, grandparent or legal guardian of a child up to age twelve (12) (K-6 students) who is enrolled in a classroom with a teacher who is participating in the BOOK IT! program school year in a public, private, parochial or home school ( Entrant ). Limit one (1) entry per child of participating Entrant. ENTRY PERIOD: Sweepstakes begins October 1, 2017 at 12:01 a.m. Central Time ( CT ); ends May 1, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. CT. ( Entry Period ) TERMS AND CONDITIONS Entry constitutes your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. WHO MAY PARTICIPATE: Child(ren) of Entrant must not be represented by an agent or manager and must not be subject to any guild, union or other organization or agreement that would restrict or prohibit participation in this Sweepstakes. Employees and their immediate families (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside or those living in the same households, whether or not related) of Pizza Hut, LLC ( Sponsor ) and its parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, franchisees, prize supplier(s), distributors and advertising and promotion agencies (collectively, Promotional Parties ) are not eligible to enter or win. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited by law. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: During the Entry Period, the child(ren) must comply with the BOOK IT! reading goal facilitated by child s(rens ) teacher, and collect goal stickers from a participating Pizza Hut restaurant for all six (6) months of the BOOK IT! reading program. The stickers are to be affixed to the BOOK IT! reading Journal that is provided to the child by a participating Pizza Hut location. After all six (6) stickers are affixed to the Journal bookmark, the bookmark AND the Sweepstakes entry form (which is attached to the Journal) is to be sent (via mail, UPS, or other courier) to: BOOK IT! Reading Giveaway, 7100 Corporate Drive, Plano, TX If Entrant is the grandparent of the child, they must have obtained the consent of the parents or legal guardian of the child before entering this Sweepstakes. To be deemed valid, entries must be fully and accurately completed in accordance with the requirements of the BOOK IT! program and these Official Rules. All entries must be postmarked by May 1, 2018 and received by May 15, Once an entry is submitted, you will not be permitted to change the entry.

2 Limit one (1) valid entry per child of participating Entrant. Any attempt to make more than the stated number of entries by using multiple accounts or by any other method may void all entries from that Entrant. Subsequent entries received for any child of a participating Entrant after the first valid entry received for that child will be void. Incomplete entries, including but not limited to those entries that do not address the requirements set forth in these Terms and Conditions, will not be eligible. Proof of sending does not constitute proof of actual receipt by Sponsor for purposes of these Terms and Conditions. Entries generated by improper means and entries made by any means which subvert the participation process will be void. PRIZE AND WINNER SELECTION: On or about May 15, 2018, one (1) prize winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries by an authorized representative of Sponsor ( Prize Winner ). The odds of being the Prize Winner depends upon the number of eligible entries received. The Prize Winner will receive a Ten Thousand Dollar ($10,000) education fund for the child of the Entrant on whose behalf the Journal was submitted, awarded in the form of a 10-year term annuity issued by Sponsor s choice of insurance company ( Annuity ). The intended purpose of the Annuity is for the benefit of the child s education. The Entrant (or the child s parent or legal guardian if the Entrant is a grandparent of the child) will be responsible for the Annuity until the minor reaches the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence. Sponsor will pay the premium for the awarded Annuity (the Annuity value of $10,000 is at maturity). Disbursement of Annuity is subject to BOOK IT! Program s terms and conditions and these Official Rules. The Annuity is subject to the insurance company policy's terms and conditions. Approximate Retail Value ( ARV ) of Annuity at maturity is $10,000. If the Prize Winner elects to surrender the Annuity prior to maturation, the cash value will be less than the $10,000 value of the Annuity at maturation. Prize winner may be the insured under the Annuity, and as defined in the policy. Prize Winner will be subject to verification of eligibility, compliance with these Terms and Conditions, and execution of an Affidavit/Release (as defined below). Sponsor s decisions are final and binding on all matters. PRIZE WINNER NOTIFICATION: Prize Winner will be notified via phone, mail or following the completion of the Sweepstakes. Prior to being confirmed as a Prize Winner or receiving any prize, Entrant whose submission is selected as a potential Prize Winner will be required to provide proof of identity, verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms and Conditions, and will also be required to execute and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release of Liability and, unless prohibited by law, a Publicity Release ( Affidavit/Release ) as well as any other documents required by Sponsor, all of which must be completed and/or received fully-executed within seven (7) days of date printed on notification or such potential Prize Winner may be disqualified, any prize forfeited, and an alternate potential Prize Winner may be selected. Entrants agree that, if they are selected as a potential Prize Winner, Sponsor may conduct a background check, and Entrants agree to execute all documents necessary for Sponsor to obtain such background check. Factors that would result in disqualification as a potential Prize Winner include, without limitation, having been charged with or convicted of a felony or misdemeanor, 2

3 being delinquent on a government ordered payment, such as child support, spousal support, alimony, tax payments, etc. In the event it is determined that: (a) any Entrant has not complied with these Terms and Conditions, (b) Sponsor is unable to contact a potential Prize Winner within a reasonable time period, (c) potential Prize Winner has failed to execute and return any required documents within the specified time period or has made false statements in connection with his/her participation in the Sweepstakes, or (d) a Prize notification is returned as undeliverable, then such potential Prize Winner and his/her submission may be disqualified and the Entrant may be required to promptly return to Sponsor his/her Prize (or equivalent value). If potential Prize Winner is disqualified for any reason, at Sponsor s discretion, an alternative winner may be selected by random draw, at Sponsor s sole discretion. GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Prize will only be awarded by Sponsor upon potential winner s verification of eligibility and final approval by Sponsor. Prize is non-transferable and there will be no prize substitution, cash equivalent of Prize, transfer or assignment of prize is permitted, except by Sponsor which reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of comparable or greater value, in its sole discretion. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and any other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided. All prize details are at Sponsor s sole discretion. GENERAL CONDITIONS: Prize acceptance constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) to use the names of Prize Winner and his/her child(ren) or grandchild(ren), submissions, likenesses, performances, awards won, statements and biographical information (all at Sponsor s discretion) for future advertising, publicity and other purposes in any and all media now or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity, without additional compensation, notification or permission. Promotion Parties, and their respective officers, directors, agents, representatives, employees (collectively, Released Parties ) are not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, damaged, stolen, altered, garbled, incorrect, incomplete, delayed or undelivered submissions; all of which will be void. Released Parties are also not responsible for problems submitting the submissions / Passport to Sponsor or for failure of any submission to be received by Sponsor which may limit Entrant s ability to participate in this Sweepstakes. Released Parties are not responsible for any other errors or malfunctions of any kind, whether network, printing, typographical, human or otherwise relating to or in connection with the Sweepstakes, including, without limitation, errors or malfunctions which may occur in connection with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of submissions, the incorrect uploading or submission of information, the announcement of Prize or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes for any reason, and to cancel or suspend the Sweepstakes in its entirety should tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity of, or proper participation in the Sweepstakes and, if terminated, at Sponsor s discretion determine the Prize Winner using all non-suspect, eligible entries up to time of cancellation. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds or suspects to be tampering with the entry or the operation of this Sweepstakes including any act that is intended to or has the effect of annoying, abusing, threatening, harassing, or disparaging any other Entrant, Sponsor or any of its representatives or to otherwise be acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions, and void all associated submissions. CAUTION: Any attempt by a Entrant to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be 3

4 made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such Entrant to the fullest extent permitted by law and to disqualify such Entrant from the Sweepstakes. MISCELLANEOUS CONDITIONS: By participating in the Sweepstakes, Entrants (i) agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, including all eligibility requirements, and (ii) agree to be bound by the decisions of Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. Failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions may result in disqualification from the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has directly, indirectly, or in concert with any other person, violated these Terms and Conditions, and to void all associated entries. By submitting an entry, each Entrant further represents and warrants that they are the parent or legal guardian of the child in the entry, or the grandparent of the child in the entry, and have all permissions to feature the child in the entry, and agree that they will provide any documentation reasonably requested by Sponsor to establish such status or authority. RELEASES: By entering the Sweepstakes, Entrants for themselves and any child(ren) or grandchild(ren) of theirs whose information are used in connection with the Sweepstakes agree to release and hold harmless the Released Parties from all claims, liability or damage caused or claimed to be caused, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of any Prize, the administration of the Sweepstakes, the operation of any website or Released Parties use of any of the rights granted herein (including any claims arising out of the use of third party content). Released Parties assume no responsibility for the conduct of any Entrant or person or the responses of anyone appearing in any entry. ARBITRATION AND CHOICE OF LAW: Entrants agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any Prize provided shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Dallas, Texas, USA; (b) any and all claims, judgments and Prize shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes and in no event shall Entrants be entitled to receive attorneys fees or other legal costs; and (c) under no circumstances will Entrants be permitted to obtain Prize for, and Entrants hereby waive all rights to, claim punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. In no event shall Entrants seek or be entitled to rescission, injunctive or other equitable relief or to enjoin or restrain exploitation of Sweepstakes of any advertising or other materials issued in connection therewith, including, but not limited to, any submission, or any other exploitation thereof. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, Entrants rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of Texas, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Texas or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than State of Texas. 4
