The company recently entered the shuttle tankers business and has ordered two DP2 Suezmaxes with 15-year contracts, to a South American oil major. TEN provides marine transportation services to international oil concerns under various term charters. TEN s fleet average age is 6.5 years, compared to the worldís average of 8.7 years. TEN s four newbuildings are expected to be delivered between Q2 and Q and the resulting fleet of 24 crude carriers and 26 product tankers, 21 of which of ice-class design that together with the company s LNG carrier will enhance TEN s position in seaborne energy trades.
