1 AmBank WeChat Tipi Tap Raya Contest Terms and Conditions 1.0 Definitions 1.1 For the purposes of this Terms and Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings assigned to them except where the context otherwise requires: AmBank Group means all the related corporations and associate corporations of the Bank whether incorporated inside or outside Malaysia, existing now or in the future and reference to AmBank Group in these Terms and Conditions herein shall include all or any entity within the AmBank Group. the Bank refers to AmBank Berhad (Company No: 8515-D) or AmBank Islamic Berhad (Company No: U), and having its registered address at Level 22, Bangunan AmBank Group, No. 55, Jalan Raja Chulan, Kuala Lumpur. AmBank s WeChat Official Account refers to AmBank s official platform within WeChat Application. Contest means AmBank WeChat Tipi Tap Contest organised by the Bank in accordance with the Terms and Conditions stipulated herein. Eligible Participant(s) means AmBank s WeChat Official Account ( OA ) followers, as the context so requires, that is eligible under Clause 3.0. Entry(ies) means the eligible entries earned by fulfilling the criteria in clause 6.1 which entitles Eligible Participants to qualify for the campaign prizes. Prior Notice means notice by the Bank of certain facts or a particular state of affairs of at least three (3) calendar days. 2.0 Contest Period 2.1 The Contest shall run from 21 May 2018 (00:00 GMT+8 MYT) until 15 July 2018 (23:59 GMT+8 MYT) (both dates inclusive and will be referred to as Contest Period ) or such other duration as may be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the Bank with sufficient prior notice. 3.0 Eligibility 3.1 The following categories of persons are NOT be eligible to participate in the Campaign: a) Individuals below the age of eighteen (18) years old; b) Non-individual followers of AmBank s WeChat OA;

2 c) Permanent and/or contract employees of AmBank Group s Group Strategic Transformation Office ( GSTO ), Retail Bank Credit Card, Retail Bank Merchant, Retail Deposits, Group Contact Centre, AmInvest Marketing, AmMetLife Marketing ; and/or d) Representatives, vendors and/or agents of AmBank Group that are directly and actively involved in this Contest planning/organization/execution/development/ preparation. 4.0 Registration and Contest Mechanism 4.1 To participate in the Campaign, the Eligible Participant must first follow AmBank s WeChat AmBankMalaysia. 4.2 The Eligible Participant will be required to register their participation in the Contest as follows: a) Select the Shortcut button in the OA page; b) Select the Contest menu button to enter the game; c) Complete the Contest registration form with details as follows: i. Name as per NRIC ii. NRIC no. iii. iv. Contact no. v. Location d) Acknowledge and agree to the terms & conditions of the Contest 4.3 Upon registration, participants will be able to see Are you ready to play? on the screen before the game starts. 4.4 Eligible Participants may submit multiple entries. 5.0 Participation Criteria 5.1 The Bank is not responsible for, nor does the Bank have any control whatsoever on the network failure and/or interruptions on the part of the respective service providers, for any other reason(s) whatsoever, resulting in the delay of the connection during the Contest registration/ Contest. 5.2 All Eligible Participants agree and authorize the Bank to disclose their personal details (including but not limited to full name, NRIC number for Malaysians/passport number for non-malaysians, mobile/telephone number and mailing address) only to the extent necessary to the Bank s service providers for the purposes of this Contest. All Participants also agree and consent to the Bank s

3 entitlement to display and/or publish information and/or materials, including but not limited to name and photographs for advertising and publicity purposes in any manner the Bank deems appropriate. By participating in this Contest, the Participants hereby agree to and shall abide by these Terms and Conditions and have read, understood and consent to the AmBank Group Privacy Notice, which can be found at [ 5.3 To the extent permitted by law and the Bank not being in breach of this Contest or is negligent, the Bank will not be held responsible and reserves the absolute discretion to disqualify any registration due to reason(s) including, but not limited to; incomplete/inaccurate entries data, unsuccessful registration due to network failure and/or interruption experienced by the service providers or for any reasons whatsoever as the Bank may, in its absolute discretion, deem fit. 6.0 Entries 6.1 Subject to the Terms and Conditions appearing hereinafter, all Eligible Participants who fulfil the following eligibility criteria during the Contest Period shall be entitled to earn Entries as tabulated below: Eligibility Criteria Number *Contest entries (which qualify for all categories of Prizes) Entries Auto renewal entry every day during the Contest Period Register for contest entry via AmBank s WeChat OA 1 Additional entry(ies) to be entitled after the first entry Visit the AmBank web page 1 Share the contest to Facebook Timeline or WeChat Moments 1 of 6.2 Entries earned during the Contest Period will only be valid if the Eligible Participant has successfully registered in the manner as provided for in Clause For each entry, Eligible Participants are to tap on the ketupat or green packet shown on the mobile phone screen to collect as many ketupat or green packet as possible to gain as many points as possible within 30 seconds. 6.4 The points collected during each entry will be accumulated throughout the Contest Period. 7.0 Prizes 7.1 The following are the categories of Prizes to be won, subject to the maximum as stated below for each category:

Total Number of Winners NA 7.2 Eligible Participants may win more than one prize in On-the-Spot Prize categories, but not more than one prize within weekly the same category. 7.3 Eligible Participants can only become one-time weekly winner. This means, if the Eligible Participants emerged as one of the top 5 weekly winners across the contest period, she or he will no longer be eligible for the top 5 weekly winners in the remaining contest period. However, his or her game scores will continue to be accumulated and be in the running for the Grand Prize should he or she continue to play the game. 7.4 The Prizes are non-exchangeable for up-front cash, credit or any such other kind, and shall be subject to the Terms and Conditions of their respective issuers/ sponsors. 7.5 The Bank will NOT provide any replacement or substitute any Prizes if the winner rejects the Prizes and/ or request for alternative option(s). 8.0 Winners Announcement 8.1 The weekly winner board within the WeChat OA game page will be updated every Monday from 21 May to 15 July to announce the latest top 5 winners and the winners will find their weekly prizes in the price list.

5 8.2 The grand Prize winner will be announced in the Grand Leader Board within the WeChat OA game page as well as in the WeChat OA announcement; whereby the winner will be required to private message the WeChat organizer to claim the grand prize. The grand prize winner will be invited to an official prize giving ceremony to claim their prize. 9.0 Disqualification 9.1 The Bank reserves the absolute right to disqualify the participation of any Eligible Participants for the purpose of this Contest without further notice to the Eligible Participants in the event of the following:- a) the Eligible Participant has provided untrue information and/or the Bank in its discretion believes that the Eligible Participant has acted fraudulently in any manner during the Contest Period; or b) the Eligible Participant is in breach of any Terms and Conditions stipulated herein. 9A.0 Liability 9A.1 The Bank shall not be liable to any Eligible Participant for any damage of whatsoever nature or loss suffered (including but not limited to, loss of goodwill, income or profits or consequential, direct or indirect, exemplary, incidental, punitive or special damages) howsoever arising in relation to participation in the Contest, or the Bank exercising its rights pursuant to any of the Terms and Conditions herein General 10.1 The Bank s decision on all matters relating to the Contest is final and binding and no further correspondence or appeal shall be entertained. All Terms and Conditions stipulated herein are governed by and construed in accordance to the laws of Malaysia and any legal disputes shall be commenced and heard in courts in Kuala Lumpur jurisdiction All Eligible Participants have read and understood all the Terms and Conditions specified herein and the Bank shall have the absolute right to suspend, terminate or cancel the Contest at any time without assigning any reason by giving prior notice The Bank shall have the right and absolute discretion to vary, amend, delete or add to any of the Terms and Conditions specifically set out herein, in whole or in any part from time to time, including varying the Contest Period as it deems fit and appropriate with prior notice. No compensation in

6 cash or any kind shall be given to the Eligible Participants for any losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or an indirect result of such amendment, variation, deletion, addition or alteration of the Terms and Conditions herein For avoidance of doubt, any cancellation, termination or suspension of this Contest by the Bank shall not entitle the Eligible Participants to any claim or compensation against the Bank for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by the Eligible Participants as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension To the extent permitted by law, the Bank shall not be liable to the Eligible Participants for any losses or costs (including loss of business opportunities or profits) caused by abnormal and unforeseeable circumstances outside the Bank s reasonable control which is unavoidable, including but not limited to any accident, act of terrorist, breakdown of machinery, civil commotion, fire, industrial dispute, labour unrest, lock-out, natural disaster, riot, strike, war (whether declared or undeclared), or data processing system, electrical, telecommunication system or transmission link failure The Bank will not responsible for any unsuccessful entries due to any technical or internet connection issues faced by the Eligible Participant, or any other reasons whatsoever For any assistance and/or feedback relating to this Contest, Eligible Participants can contact the Bank s 24-hour Contact Centre by calling or via to customercare@ambankgroup.com.

7 Personal Data Protection Act 2010 ( PDPA ) By entering into the Contest all winners of the Contest consent to the use of their personal data by the Organiser for the running of the Contest and for any events or publicity of the Contest in any form or through any media.
