2 There are 5 endorsements to use when modifying, amending or assigning an existing loan policy. They are as follows: ALTA Endorsement, Assignment (Rev. 02/03/10); ALTA Endorsement, Assignment and Date Down (Rev. 02/03/10); The ALTA 10 insures the effectiveness of the assignment of the insured mortgage and that there have been no releases or re-conveyances placed of record other than as shown. Form 10.1 provides the same coverages as the Form 10 and gives additional coverage over other certain maters occurring after the Date of Policy and before the Date of Endorsement. These matters include: real estate taxes or assessments; priority of intervening defects, liens or encumbrances; and federal tax liens or bankruptcy proceedings. ALTA Endorsement, Mortgage Modification (6/17/06); ALTA Endorsement, Mortgage Modification with Subordination (10/22/09); The ALTA 11 created to insure lenders that the modification of the insured mortgage evidenced by the document referred to in the endorsement does not impair the validity, enforceability or priority of the insured mortgage as of the date of the endorsements. Form 11.1 also insures against loss based on a specific matter not being subordinate to the lien of the insured mortgage. Blank Endorsement. Endorsement s do not have filed rates in Tennessee, but instead have recommended charges. The above endorsements are calculated as below: Assignment of Mortgage ALTA $0.10 per $1, Assignment of Mortgage and Downdate ALTA $0.15 per $1, Mortgage Modification ALTA $0.35 per $1, Mortgage Modification ALTA $0.35 per $1, Blank Modification Endorsement $0.35 per $1, The base cost of the endorsement is figured as follows: You will take the amount of the policy or the amount of the loan balance and divide by 1000, then multiply by the factor the applies above for a modification endorsement. If there is an increase in the amount of coverage, the cost of the endorsement will consist of the base cost plus the cost of the increase which if figured as follows: divide the increased amount by 1000 and then multiple by the tier level that applies. See tier levels below.

4 Each agent has the ability to endorse any policy that was issued on their brand, regardless if they issued the policy or not. They can also endorse the policies of the companies that have merged into any FNTG brand, as follows: Chicago Title Insurance Company: You can endorse the following companies with the language: Chicago Title Insurance Company successor by merger to.
