What should I do if my car suffers minor damage? If your car suffers Minor Cosmetic Damage,contact on What is Minor Cosmetic Damage? Minor Cosmetic Damage means a Chip, Minor Dent, Light Scratch or Scuffed Bumper where the total damaged area is no largerthan 30cm in diameteror3mm in depth (in the case of a Chip(s) is no largerthan 1.5cm in diameter or 3mm in depth). How does repair my car? If your claim is verified, we will appoint one of our approved Repairers to carry out a repair to the damage.all we ask is thatyou inform us of aclaim within 30 days of the Incident occurring.

Car Care Plan is Europe s leading warranty administration specialist and You will receive a first-class administration service that is always reliable and handles claims quickly and efficiently. This handbook explains how the programme works and the many benefits You nowenjoyasa customer.always keep this handbook in Your Vehicle,as you will need it to make a claim. Please ensure You fully understand the terms and conditions relating to the products that You have been providedwith, as describedabove. On receipt of your Schedule, please check that it contains the correct details and tell the Administrator immediately if there are anymistakes.

About your Policy Your Cosmetic Repair InsurancepolicyisprovidedbyAmTrust Europe Limited and is designed to cover You against the cost of Minor Cosmetic Damage to Your Vehicle throughout the Period of Cover.In exchange for payment of the full premium We agree to cover You against the cost associated with the repair of Minor Cosmetic Damage to the Vehicle incurred during the Period of Cover,subject to the full terms and conditions contained within this document. You will receive a Personal Validation Certificate which contains information about You, Your Vehicle, the Aggregate Claim Limit, the Start Date and Your Period of Cover. This document, together with Your Personal Validation Certificate is Your policy and should be read as one document. Please read this policy carefully, paying particular attention to the general conditions and exclusions as Your failure to comply with any of the terms and conditions may render the policy invalid and could delay or invalidate any claim You make. 2. Eligibility You are eligible for cover under this policy if: You arethe registered owner and keeper of the Vehicle; You are the policyholder or named driver on the Motor InsurancePolicy; You are residentinthe United Kingdom, excluding the Isle of Wight and the Islands of Scotland (including The Shetlands, Orkneys, Inner Hebrides and Outer Hebrides). Please note that this means that the Isle of Man is also excluded; The Vehicle has a standard paint colour or finish which is not considered specialist, non-standard or an exclusive paint colour or finish. This mayinclude but is not limited to self-healing paint, body wrap, chrome illusion paint, twotone paint, or matt finishes; The Vehicle is used only for social, domestic, pleasure and commuting to and from aplace of work as well as whereitis insured for Class 2 business use; At the Start Date the Vehicle is less than eight yearsold and has fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer.

Definitions The following words or expressions will have the specific meanings described below,they have the same meaning throughout this document and appear with a capital letter: Administrator: means CarCarePlanLtd, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire BD3 7AG. Chip(s): means a chipped area on the Vehicle up to a maximum of 1.5cm in diameter or 3mm in depth. Cosmetic Repair: means arepairtechnique suitableforrepairing Minor Cosmetic Damage.ACosmetic Repair involves restoring eligible damaged areas as close as possible back to their original condition and where appropriate includes a Touch-in Repair, however no repair will be identical to the original automotive factory finish. Geographical Limits: means the United Kingdom, excluding the Islands of Scotland (including The Shetlands, Orkneys, Inner Hebrides and Outer Hebrides). Insurer/We/Us/Our: AmTrustEurope Limited. Light Scratch: means a scratched area on the Vehicle where the scratch isuptoamaximum of 30cm in length or 3mm in depth. Maximum Claims Limit: means the maximum number of claims incidences allowable under this policy; that being six claims on aone year policy, 12 claims on atwo year policyor18claims on a three yearpolicy. Minor Cosmetic Damage: means a Chip, Minor Dent, Light Scratch and/or Scuffed Bumper caused by a single Incident, where the total damaged area is no larger than 30cm in diameter or 3mm in depth and,inthe case of a Chip(s) is no largerthan 1.5cm in diameteror3mm in depth. Anyone claim is limited to one Minor Cosmetic Damage repair,unless in the case of multiple damages caused by a single Incident where the total end to end size of the furthermost points of the combined damaged area is no larger than 30cm in diameter or 3mm in depth. Any repairs which are greater than these limits or are estimated to exceed four hourstocomplete will not be considered to be Minor Cosmetic Damage. Incident: means the causeof thedamage for which You are making a claim.

8 8 Minor Dent: means adented area on the Vehicle up to a maximum of 30cm in diameter or 3mm in depth. Period of Cover: means the period,as noted on the Personal Validation Certificate,for which We have agreed to provide cover and forwhich You have paid the full premium. Personal Validation Certificate: means the document containing important information about You,the Vehicle,the Start Date,the Period of Cover and the premium. Repairer: means the person or organisation who is authorised by Us to carry out the repair work to the Vehicle. Scuffed Bumper: means ascuffedbumper up to amaximum of 30cm in diameteror3mm in depth. Start Date: means the date on which Your cover under this policy commences as noted within Your Personal Validation Certificate. Touch-in Repair: means a repair to a Chip or Light Scratch to a horizontal surface such as a bonnet, roof or saloon boot top. A Touch-in Repair involves the Minor Cosmetic Damage to be colour matched and painted as close as possible to the original finish. A Touch-in Repair will be weatherproof, but will remain visible. Vehicle: means the vehicle described in the Personal Validation Certificate which is used for social, domestic or pleasure purposes only, including commuting and travelling to and from a place of work as well as where the vehicle is insured for Class 2 business use. Please note this policy does not cover the following vehicles in any circumstances;vehicles that are named ona contract hire or lease agreement (but not including personal contract hire), vehicles used for commercial travel, light commercial vehicles,emergency vehicles,delivery vehicles,panel vans and vehicles exceeding 3500kg. The following types of vehicles are also excluded; motor cycles, scooters, three wheeled vehicles,kit-cars, quad bikes, caravans or motor homes, trailers, boats, vehicles used for hire or reward(for example taxis, self-drive hire or driving schools), delivery courier or a vehicle used in any sort of rally, speed testing, 4x4 off-roading, racing or any kind of competition, trial or used for any purpose in connection with the motor trade. You/Your/Yourself: means the person named as the policyholder on the Personal Validation Certificate.

Coverprovided In return for the payment of the appropriate premium, We will provide a Cosmetic Repair or where appropriate a Touch-in Repair to Minor Cosmetic Damage on the Vehicle,subject to the terms and conditions detailed in this document. In the event that a Cosmetic Repair cannot be used to repair Minor Cosmetic Damage on Your Vehicle under this policy, the policy will contribute up to a maximum of 150 including VAT towards the cost of having a conventional body shop repair carried out whereby the Minor Cosmetic Damage has been repaired as a result. This is subject to being provided an invoice from a VAT registered repairer for the work carried out. Cover will be provided if You are resident in the Geographical Limits. Vehicle repairs will only be carried out within the stated Geographical Limits. 5. General Conditions There are certain obligations that You must fulfil in order to ensure that Your coverremains valid: 5.1 You must report Your claim to the Administrator within 30 days following the Incident; 5.2 You must use all reasonable caretomaintain the Vehicle in a roadworthy condition and take all reasonable precautions to prevent or minimise loss or damage; 5.3 You mustgivethe Administrator true and completeinformation; 5.4 You must agree to comply with the Administrator s reasonablerequests; 5.5 You must follow the prescribed claims procedure as explained in this document or by the Administrator s claims staff; 5.6 You must advise the Repairer of any non-original finish areas onthe Vehicle.In the case of incompatibility with a non-original finish We have the right to decline a claim or void this policy; 5.7 You must inform the Administrator if any of the details in the Personal Validation Certificate are incorrect or have changed; 5.8 You are required by the provisions of the Consumer Insurance(Disclosureand Representations) Acttotake care to supply accurate and complete answers to all the questions in the application and to make sure that all information supplied is true and correct;

10 You must tell the Administrator about any changes which may be important for Us to continue accepting Your policy. 6. Exclusions You will not be covered for Minor Cosmetic Damage: 6.1 that cannot be defined as a Light Scratch, Chip, Scuffed Bumper or Minor Dent or any Minor Cosmetic Damage where a Cosmetic Repair is not technically possible; 6.2 that in the opinion of the Administrator wasincurred before the Start Date; 6.3 reported to the Administrator more than 30 days after the Incident; 6.4 where the number of Minor Cosmetic Damages exceeds one per claim; 6.5 if You have not paid the premium in full, or have not taken out acar Care Plan credit agreement in order to payfor this policybyinstalments; 6.6 to horizontal flat surfaces, roofs, bonnets and boot tops where the Repairer deems it not possible to achieve a satisfactory finish using Cosmetic Repair or Touch-in Repair techniques; 6.7 to paint colours and finishes that cannot be suitably matched by the Repairer.These include but are not limited to specialist, non-standard and exclusive paint colours and finishes, for example: self-healing paint, body wrap,chrome illusion paint, two tone paint finish or matt finishes; 6.8 where the total number of claims made exceedsthe Maximum Claims Limit; 6.9 to anybody panel or part of apanel thathas been ripped, torn, or perforated; 6.10 that requires replacement of any body panel or part of a panel; 6.11 where any repair work is carried out without prior authorisation being given by the Administrator; 6.12 where the Vehicle is located outside the Geographical Limits; 6.13 caused and/or repair work performed outside the Geographical Limits; 6.14 caused by hail, rust, pitting or paintwork discolouration; 6.15 to stickers, decals,beading or moulding (including protective plastic), or that requires the removal of these items;

11 of any kind to wheels, wheel rims or wheel trims; 6.17 to locks and handles, accessories, door mouldings, window mouldings, lights or any window; 6.18 where the loss is covered and claimed for under any other insurance; 6.19 for any liability to any other party; 6.20 for any Minor Cosmetic Damage caused by a third party which caused bodily injury; 6.21 caused by any act or omission that is wilful or unlawful; 6.22 for any other costs that are indirectly caused by the event which ledtoyour claim, unlessspecificallystatedas covered in this policy; 6.23 which is the subject of fraud, falseactions or dishonesty; 6.24 caused by nuclear substances or activity; 6.25 caused by war, civil commotion, labour disturbances, riot, strike, lockout, public disorder or any form of terrorism; 6.26 if You do not have the Minor Cosmetic Damage repaired; 6.27 where the total number of all claims made under this policy exceeds the Maximum Claim Limit. 7. Cancellation and Cooling Off period 7.1 You have the right to cancel this policywithin 30 days from receipt of Your policy documentation or from the Start Date whichever is the later, by contacting the person from whom You purchased the policy. You are eligible for a refund of any premium You have already paid,unless You have already made aclaim under Your policy. If You have made aclaim under Your policy and the claim has been paid, You will be asked to return the value of the claim to the Administrator. 7.2 You may cancel Your policy in writing after30 calendar days and receive a pro rata refund of Your premium based onthe number of whole months remaining subject to the deduction of a cancellation fee of 20.Requests forcancellations shouldbemadebycontacting the Administrator on or in writing to: CarCarePlanLtd, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire BD3 7AG. We will not give You a refund if You have successfully claimed on this policy. Please allow up to 28 days for Your cancellation and refund to be processed.

Automatic Termination This policy will automatically terminate on whichever of the following happens first: 8.1 thedate on which You dispose of,or transfer ownership of the Vehicle to another party, regardless of whether or not You inform the Administrator;or 8.2 thedate on which the policy expires as per Your Personal Validation Certificate;or 8.3 You cease to reside within the Geographical Limits;or 8.4 the Administrator declares the policy void under section 11.7 or Your policy. 9. Howtomakeaclaim 9.1 When You become aware of any Minor Cosmetic Damage that could lead to a claim, You must call the Administrator on within 30 days. You must comply with the claims procedure as explained in this document and by the Administrator. You can also download the free Cosmetic Repair Insurance claim app to make a claim. 9.2 In order to assess a claim the Administrator will require: Your personal and Vehicle details; Full detailsofthe damage and howand when it occurred; Confirmation that the damage falls within the parameters described as Minor Cosmetic Damage within this document; You will be requested to provide the Administrator with digital photos to support Your claim. This will help the Administrator to assess Your claim. Your photos can be ed to damage@carcareplan.co.uk. 9.3 Upon receipt of the information described in 9.2, the Administrator will review Your claim. If the claim is covered by the policy, the Administrator will provisionally authorise Your claim and instruct the Repairerto contact You to arrange for the damage to be repaired.if upon inspection by the Repairer it is deemed that for technical reasons the Minor Cosmetic Damage cannot be repaired using a Cosmetic Repair or Touch-in Repair method,or the Vehicle is not eligible for cover, the Administrator reserves the right to decline the claim at this stage. Only the Administrator can accept or decline claims. You must allow the Administrator (or Our authorised Repairer)access to inspect the Vehicle if required.

13 Following a repair, You must check that all work has been properly completed.if the work has not been completed to a satisfactory level, You must contact the Repairer immediately. 9.5 In order to make a claim for a maximum of 150 including VAT towards the cost of a conventional body shop repair,where the Minor Cosmetic Damage cannot be repaired using a Cosmetic Repair technique,the Administrator will require the following documentation: Acopyofavalid receipt showing payment hasbeenmade following the repair of the Minor Cosmetic Damage. Upon receipt, the Administrator will review Your claim. If Your claim is covered by the policy, the Administrator will arrange payment to You up to the maximum limits set out in this policy. 9.6 Wereservethe right to settle aclaim in cash in lieu of the Vehicle being repaired. 9.7 If Your Vehicle repair is to be completed by the Approved Repairer as a mobile repair they will need access to Your Vehicle in a safelocation where they can move around the Vehicle.If this isn t possible pleasemake the Approved Repairer aware of this during the booking process. 10.Enquiries or Complaints 10.1 Should You have an enquiry or cause for complaint regarding the sale of Your policy, please contact the supplying Dealer who sold You the policy We aim to provide a high level of service and to process claims fairly and promptly. If You have an enquiry or complaint regarding this insurance, You should first contact the Administrator on , or in writing to: The Customer Services Manager, CarCarePlanLimited, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury,WestYorkshireBD3 7AG. You canalso Us at complaints@carcareplan.co.uk. Please tell the Administrator Your name and Your claim number or policy number and the reasonyou are complaining. Calls to the Administrator may be recorded. The Administrator will contact You within five days of receiving Your complaint to inform You of what action the Administrator is taking. The Administrator will try to resolve the problem and give You an answer within four weeks. If it will take the Administrator longer than four weeks, they will tell You when You can expect an answer.

14 In the event You remain dissatisfied with the manner in which Your complaint has been dealt with You also have the right to askthe Financial Ombudsman Service to review Your case. The right to apply to the Ombudsman must be exercised within six months of the date of Our final decision. 16 Data Protection Authorisation Statement In processing and managing this agreement, the Administrator will collect,transfer and store the information You have provided in their secure servers based in the United States of America. The Administrator has takenmeasures to ensure that there is an adequate equivalent level of protection of Your information in the U.S.A. in accordance with legislation in the United Kingdom. In compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998, You are entitled to askthe Administrator to amend their records about You if theyare not correct, and You mayrequest a copy of the information the Administrator holds about You by applying in writing addressed to: ComplianceOfficer, CarCarePlanLimited, Jubilee House, 5 Mid Point Business Park, Thornbury, West Yorkshire BD3 7AG. Or by ing CCPH_DPA@carcareplan.co.uk. There may be a charge of 10 for this service Anti-Fraud and Theft Registers We may pass information to various anti-fraud and theft registers.the aim is to help insurers check the information provided and to prevent fraudulent claims. When Your request for insurance is considered,these registers may be searched. When You tell Us about an event, the information relating to the eventwill be passed on to the registers.itisa condition of this policy that You inform Us about an event, whether or not it gives rise to a claim Fraud You must not act in a fraudulent way. If You or anyone acting for You: makes aclaim under the policyknowing the claim to be false or exaggerated in any way; or makes astatement in support of aclaim knowing the statement to be falseinany way; or provides the Administrator with any documentation in support of a claim knowing the documentation to be forged or false in any way;or makes a claim for any loss caused by Your deliberate act or with Your agreement;

17 17 Then the Administrator: will not authorise the claim; may not authorise any other claim which has been or may be made under the policy; may declare the policy void; will be entitled to recoverfrom You the amount of any claim already paid under the policy; will not return any of Your premium; may let the police know about the circumstances Other Important Notes You are required by the provisions of the Consumer Insurance(Disclosureand Representations) Act to take care to supply accurate and complete answers to all the questions in the application and to make sure that all information supplied is true and correct. You must tell Us of anychanges to the answers You have given as soon as possible. Failure to advise Us of a change to Your answers may mean that Your policy is invalid and that it does not operate in the event of a claim. We may also recover any money We may have paid under this policy This policy, unless We have agreed otherwise, is governed by English Lawand both partiesagree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England Under English Law, it is an offence to make a false statement or to withhold any material information in order to obtain a schedule of insurance Wereserve the right to decline any insurance risk or to change the Premium and the terms quoted Language All communication between You and Us will be conducted in English In accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995, the Administrator is able, upon request,to provide audio tapes and large print documentation. Please advise the Administrator if You require any of these services to be provided so that the Administrator can communicate with You in an appropriate manner The Administrator may record telephone conversations to offer You additional security, resolve complaints and improve service standards. Conversations may also be monitored for staff training purposes.
