1 Job Aid: Request Valuation Introduction This job aid demonstrates how to enter Total Loss IDs into an insurance profile and how to submit a Valuation Request from a workfile within CCC ONE Repair Workflow. Please note: The process is the same for CCC ONE Estimating Users. The only difference is that the Workfile is called an Opportunity. Safeco Claim Office Profiles Tip! Sort the Company Code column to locate SA Claim Office Profiles. There are currently 12 active Safeco Profiles. Please take a moment to compare your Safeco Claim Office Profiles to this list. Add any missing profiles and feel free to delete any other Safeco Profiles. Use the following chart to identify which IDs to add. Most users will add the default ID, the UPD ID and Short Names based on their state. States Non UPD Valuations UPD Valuations All (excl. RI & VT) Valuation User ID: Short Name: SA-GRN-UNIV VT & RI Valuation User ID: Short Name: SA-GRN-RI-VT CRV Valuations Valuation User ID: Short Name: SA-GRN-CRV Valuation User ID: Short Name: SA-GRN-UPD Valuation User ID: Short Name: GRNINDOT
2 Add Total Loss ID to Claim Office Profiles, continued To do this, go to Configure, Profiles and select the Claim Office Profile. Scroll down, then select Valuation User IDs. All available IDs for this Profile display. Click the Add button. Enter the appropriate Valuation User ID and the Office Short Name as shown in the table. When adding 40166, check the Default checkbox to make it the default ID. Click OK. Make sure to add the UPD Office Short Name. Repeat for each ID you need to add to this Profile. Save the Profile. Repeat for each Claim Office Profile that requires updating. Add Total Loss Threshold to Claim Office Profiles Make sure to add a Total Loss Threshold of 70%. To do this go to Rules, Total Loss Threshold. Click Edit and enter 70%. Click Edit to update the Total Loss Threshold to 70%. Click Add if profile does not have a Total Loss Threshold set.
3 Before You Begin the Valuation Complete the required information on any or all of the workfile tabs, including (but not limited to): Contacts Tab: Insured, Adjuster information must be added. Vehicle Tab: VIN Important! Contact and Vehicle fields are required to submit a Valuation Request. Once entered, you can write an estimate or submit a Total Loss Request. Go directly to the Total Loss Tab. Vehicle Tab: Do not change the Point of Impact to Total Loss 15 until AFTER receiving the Valuation and confirming it s a total. Unrelated Prior Damage (UPD): Note any damage not related to this current claim. Contacts Tab Verify the following information. 1 Confirm Insured Last Name. 2 Confirm the Adjuster. If not listed, enter Unknown.
4 Vehicle Tab: Description Enter the following Vehicle Description information. 1 Enter VIN and all related Vehicle information. If VIN is known VIN is not known 2 Enter Mileage. Then Enter the VIN and decode it. If it decodes correctly, a Good VIN message displays. Enter UNK and click Select Standard Vehicle. Select a vehicle from the list. Vehicle Tab Options For each category listed on the right, check the applicable options. A summary of selections is listed on the left for reference.
5 Request Procedure Use the following steps to Submit a Valuation Request on the Total Loss tab of the workfile. Important! Make sure you entered the Adjuster s name on the Contacts Tab first! If you forget, you will receive an error message that takes you back to the Contacts Tab. Perform the following steps in the Valuation section under the Total Loss tab. 1 This is the NON UPD Total Loss ID. IF UPD, use ID, unless you are in RI or VT, then use either (NON UPD) or (UPD) UPD Short Name EX: SA-GRN-UPD or GRNINDOT 2 3 Name/User ID should automatically display 4 your default CCC ONE Valuation ID. To select another ID, click the dropdown arrow and select it. 1 If not using the default ID, select the appropriate User ID to use for this Valuation Request. 2 Verify that the Zip Code where the Loss Vehicle is garaged prefilled from the workfile Contacts Tab. 3 Tax information should default for Safeco claims. Field Tax Type Unavailable to change. Description Send deductible as an Adjustment Checkbox should be checked as the default. 4 While you CAN enter information into the Special Instructions to CCC field, it will delay the Valuation being processed. A Valuator will need to manually review the Special Instructions. Instead enter any notes under Valuation Request Note.
6 Request Procedure, continued Perform the following steps in the Condition section under the Total Loss tab. 5 5 Complete the Conditioning sub tab to indicate the Vehicle s current condition. Once you select an Overall Condition, you can change a specific category s Condition by selecting a different option in that Category. Use the Note icon to explain the condition ratings for a Category selection. A note MUST be entered anytime the conditioning differs from normal wear. Use the Information icon to Insurer-specific Rating Descriptions for each Category prior to making your selections if needed.
7 Submit Request Once you have entered all the necessary information, perform the following steps to complete the request. 1 Return to the Valuation sub tab. 2 Once you have completed all required information, click the Request Valuation button on the toolbar. 3 You will receive notification that the Request was submitted. The status on the workfile will change: 4 When the Valuation Report is returned, go to the Attachments tab on the Workfiles View Preview pane to view the.pdf copy. Change Point of Impact Final s: Once the Valuation is returned and the vehicle is confirmed a total loss, go back to the Vehicle Tab and mark the Primary Point of Impact as a 15 Total Loss. Then, return to the Estimate Tab and lock the Estimate then upload it to Safeco. Contact your Repair Network Specialist on border-line total losses prior to locking estimate for instructions how to proceed if unable to confirm vehicle is a total loss based on the Valuation. ONLY change the Point of Impact to 15 Total Loss after the Valuation is returned and confirmed a total.
