The General Shoe Company purchased this property in the early 1940 s and began manufacturing leather boots here during World War II. It since has been home to boat manufacturing, roofing supply, stone fabrication and even a vinyl pressing facility with United Records Press. Today, it is the home of WELD, where hundreds of creative minds join daily to dream up and tackle freelance projects together. WELD s innovative space is an open-aired, contemporary venue sitting just 3 miles from downtown Nashville in the heart of the 8th Ave and Melrose neighborhoods. Our location is nicely tucked away for event privacy for you and your guests, and an ideal location for easy transportation to bars, restaurants and hotels making WELD s space perfect for large corporate events. Our creative space is over 20,000 square feet consisting of private offices, meeting rooms, photography studio, and kitchen. Our main space & kitchen are available for corporate rental and our members are allowed to use the back area for private events.

Amenities Included General Lighting Six 6 ft. tables. 75 folding chairs Ample Parking Pricing 12 Hour Friday, Saturday and Sunday Rental $ Hour Sunday Thursday (Nights Only) Rental $5000+ Any additional time over contract will be $500/hour Payment Schedule 25% of the estimate will be due when you book. You can pay the rest of the balance at any time up to 14 days before the event. If you re booking on a time crunch (under 30 days), the total balance will be due when you book. Cancellations must be provided in writing to WELD Spaces Nashville, LLC.

3 Cancellations 60+ days prior to the event will receive any balance paid in excess of the deposit fee and the remaining balance of the estimate will become void. Cancellations days prior to the event will be charged for 75% of the estimate total. Cancellations 0-29 days prior to the event must be paid in full. Insurance We require all clients to provide proof of $1,000,000 personal & ADV injury, $2,000,000 general aggregate/comp/op Aggregate insurance. WELD must be listed as additionally insured and proof of insurance must be submitted to the Event Manager no later than 5 business days prior to your event. Alcohol We allow you to serve beer and wine with the appropriate documents and licenses provided by the State of Tennessee. There will be no purchase or selling of alcohol on WELD s property. Guest Parking Ample dedicated parking is available on-site at no additional cost. Limitations to decor and set up The goal for your event is that it comes to life exactly how you imagined it. So dream big, but know that since we want to protect the space we do not allow: Anything taped or adhered to the walls. Nails, tacks, glue or push pins. Think freestanding decor and creative suspension. Open flames (candles are allowed but must be in a container that has at minimum 4 inches between flame + opening) Glitter Fireworks

4 Confetti canyons Spray Paint Any paint must only be for guest use and located on a covered table. All decor that would create permanent change or alterations to space in any way must be approved by Event Manager. If you have any questions regarding the decor restrictions our Event Manager will be happy to answer those questions for you. Can I bring in additional sound or lighting? You are welcome to bring in our own lighting and A/V equipment while using the WELD event space. All vendors and equipment being brought into the space must be submitted to the Event Manager no later than 5 business days prior to the day of your event.
