Who Can Enter The Timberline Newsletter Sweepstakes, ( Promotion ), sponsored by Timber Products Company, ( Sponsor ), is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and District of Columbia, who are at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of entry. Void outside the United States and where prohibited. Officers, directors, and employees of Timber Products Company ( Sponsor, Administrator and Fulfillment house ), CMD, Woodworking Network, Affiliated Distributors/Resellers, and each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, (all such individuals and entities referred to collectively as the Promotion Entities), are not eligible to participate in the Promotion. 2. Promotion Period The sweepstakes begins on 04/01/2015 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time and ends on 07/25/2015 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time ( Promotion Period ). 3. How to Enter There are five (5) ways to enter the random drawing sweepstakes; 1. Sign up for Timberline newsletter located here: Once you have successfully signed up for the newsletter you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes. 2. Attend the 2015 Cabinets & Closets Conference and Expo in Chicago, Illinois between 04/15/2015 and 04/16/2015, and have your tradeshow badge scanned at Timber Products booth #137. Once scanned you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes. 3. Register for the Timber Products-sponsored webinar hosted on which will take place in June To be entered into the sweepstakes, opt-in to receive the Timberline Newsletter during the registration process. Once you have successfully signed up for the webinar and optedin, you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes. Visit for further details. 4. Attend the 2015 AWFS Fair in Las Vegas, Nevada between 07/22/2015 and 7/25/2015, and have your AWFS tradeshow badge scanned at Timber Products booth #4232. Once scanned you are automatically entered into the sweepstakes. 5. 2 number, and address to and you will receive one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Only one (1) entry per person is allowed during the sweepstakes Promotion Period. Only one prize per person will be awarded during the Promotion Period. Random Drawing One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period. The winner will be selected on or before 08/12/2015. Only one (1) entry per person is allowed during the sweepstakes Promotion Period. Only one prize per person will be awarded during the Promotion Period. 5. Prize and Odds of Winning One (1) winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received, and awarded approximately $4, USD retail value credit toward the purchase of Timber Products decorative panel products. The winner will work with a Sponsor s representative to select decorative panel products that meet the $4, USD retail value. Any hardwood plywood or decorative overlay products manufactured by Timber Products Company in the normal course of business are available to the winner. Given the product(s) selected by the winner, item quantities may be determined by the standard manufacturing practices of Timber Products Company. Sponsor will fulfill the order by making the products available for pick-up at a Timber Products distributor that is closest to the winner s address. Pick-up from said distributor is the responsibility of the winner, and pick-up must be made no later than ten (10) business days from notification. If the products are not picked up during this time frame and/or other arrangements have not been made, the products in question will become the property of the distributor. The TOTAL APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV) OF ALL PRIZES is $4, USD. 3 Prize consists of only those items specifically listed as part of the prize. All prizes are awarded as is with no warranties, representations or guarantees, including but not limited to, quality, condition, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Winners must look to the manufacturer for any warranties or guarantees. No substitution, assignment, or transfer of prizes permitted, except by Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of greater or equal value if prize cannot be awarded as stated for any reason. Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and other expenses or fees associated with prize receipt and use. Sponsor will report taxes as required by the applicable law of Sponsor s jurisdiction and winner s jurisdiction. In the event that a potential prize winner is disqualified or not authorized or eligible to receive the prize for any reason, potential winner forfeits prize. Winner Notification. Winners will be notified by on or before 08/14/2015 and where applicable, winners will be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability, and (where imposing such condition is legal) a Publicity Release, (collectively, the Prize Claim Documents) within indicated time period indicated by Sponsor or Administrator in order to claim his or her prize. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to sign and return the Prize Claim Documents, or refuses to accept the Prize, within the required time period (if applicable), or if any prize is returned as undelivered, potential winner forfeits such prize and an alternate winner will be randomly selected. 6. Data Collection. Sponsor and its agencies collect personal information from you when you participate in the Promotion. The information collected is subject to the Sponsor s Privacy Policy. 7. General Conditions Sponsor s computer is the official clock for purposes of participation. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage Sponsor s or any related promotional communications or undermine the legitimate operation of this Promotion may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law, (as well as disqualifying such individual, if appropriate). Sponsor s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. 4 Administrator is not responsible for electronic transmission errors resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware or software malfunctions or limitations of any kind, or inaccurate transmissions of or failure to receive entry information by Administrator or presenter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or any combination thereof. If for any reason the technical portion of the program is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Promotion, Administrator reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion. Administrator reserves the right to select winners from eligible entries received as of the termination date. Administrators further reserve the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. Administrator may prohibit an entrant from participating in the Promotion if it determines that said entrant is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by cheating, hacking, deception, or other unfair playing practices or intending to abuse, threaten, or harass other entrants. Caution: Any attempt by a participant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion is a violation of criminal and civil laws and should such an attempt be made, Administrator reserves the right to seek damages from any such participant to the fullest extent of the law. 8. Publicity Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Promotion and acceptance of prize constitutes winner s consent to the Promotion Entities use of winner s name, likeness, voice, opinions, hometown, and state and other indicia of persona for promotional, trade, or advertising purposes in any media without geographic or time limitation, and without additional payment or consideration. 9. Release Entrants agree that the Promotion Sponsor and Administrator (A) shall not be responsible or liable for, and are hereby released from, any and all costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind, including, without limitation, death and bodily injury, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, to participation in the Promotion or any Promotion-related activity, or from entrants acceptance, receipt, possession, and/or use or misuse of any prize, and (B) have not made any warranty, representation, or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, with respect to any prize, including, without limitation, to such prize s quality or fitness for a particular purpose. The Promotion Entities make no warranties, and hereby disclaim any and all warranties, express or implied, concerning any prize furnished in connection with the Promotion. Limitations of Liability The Promotion Entities are not responsible for and entrant hereby releases Sponsor, its partners, and agencies, (including Administrator), from any claims arising from: (1) incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information or lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, misdirected entries, or entries received through impermissible or illegitimate channels, all of which are void and will be disqualified; (2) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunctioning of any telephone, computer, network, hardware, or software; (3) the unavailability or inaccessibility of website or any other service; (4) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion and/or incomplete or inaccurate information being displayed on website whether due to unauthorized human intervention, equipment failure, or malfunction, or other cause; (5) electronic or human error that may occur in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries; or (6) any injury or damage to persons or property, including but not limited to entrant s computer, (or any information/materials stored thereon), which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, by entrant s participation in the Promotion or from downloading any material from Sponsor s or related website(s), regardless of whether the material was prepared by Sponsor, agency, or a third party, and regardless of whether the material is connected to a Sponsor s or agency s website by a hypertext link. 11. Disputes/Choice of Law Except where prohibited by law, each entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Promotion or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by state or federal courts situated in the state of Oregon, (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, but in no event attorneys fees; and (3) no punitive, incidental, special, consequential, or other damages, including without limitation lost profits may be awarded, (collectively, Special Damages), and (4) entrant hereby waives all rights to claim Special Damages and all rights to have such damages multiplied or increased. Oregon law, (with the sole exception of the choice of law/conflict of law rules of Oregon or of any other jurisdiction), governs the Promotion and all aspects related thereto including construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules. Entrant agrees to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state.
