4 Who is eligible to receive payments? - Individuals or legal entities cannot have income that exceed a certain limit set by law. - Individuals or legal entities with average adjusted gross income less than $900,000 are eligible for all payments and benefits under the commodity, price support, disaster a ssistance, and conservation programs.

6 Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program(NAP) Overview FSA provides financial assistance to producers of non-insurable crops to protect against natural disasters that result in lower yields or crop losses.
7 Noninsured Crop Disaster Assistance Program(NAP) Overview Eligible cause of loss are as follows Damaging weather, such as drought, freeze, hail, excessive moisture, excessive wind or hurricanes. Conditions related to damaging weather, such as excessive heat, plant disease or insect infestation. The natural disaster must occur during the coverage period, before or during harvest, and must directly affect the eligible crop.

9 One of our priorities at the Farm Service Agency is encouraging new and beginning farmers along with those who are historically underserved and or have limited resources to engage in agricultural activities. Beginning, limited resource and underserved farmers and ranchers are eligible for a fee waiver or premium reductions when they meet any of these criteria.
10 - A person or legal entity who has not operated a farm or ranch for more than 10 years. And A person with direct or indirect gross farm sales not more than $173,900 (for FY2017) in each of the previous two years. A person with a total household Adjusted Gross Income less than $ 36,666 for Essex County or $ 43,967 for Middlesex County. A member of a group whose member has been subject to discrimination
11 Service Fees for NAP The NAP service fee is the lesser of $ per crop or $ per producer per administrative county. Beginning, limited resource and targeted underserved farmers are eligible for a waiver of the service fee.
