4 Savings Accumulator Plus gives you the financial flexibility to better plan your tomorrow Guaranteed coupon payout every six months starting from the end of the 3rd policy year With Savings Accumulator Plus, you will receive regular guaranteed coupons of 2.5% of your sum insured that will be paid out every six months from the end of the 3rd policy year. Your savings may be boosted with the automatic deposit of the guaranteed coupon payouts to earn higher returns by accumulating coupon payouts at the prevailing interest rate 5. We also provide a flexible option for you to withdraw your coupons at any time via a written request to us. Flexible premium 6 Depending on your needs, you can choose a premium payment period between 1 to 5 years with the in-built FlexiPay rider. 5 How does Savings Accumulator Plus plan work? Scenario: Ms. Lim, (age 30 next birthday, female, non-smoker) is a successful architect and mother. To be able to spend more time with her child, Ms. Lim is planning to take a sabbatical leave in five years time. But she wants to ensure that her loss of regular income does not affect her financial goals. So, Ms. Lim purchases Savings Accumulator Plus of Sum Insured S$48,000 with a 5 years premium paying term. From the end of the 3rd year, Ms. Lim will earn guaranteed coupons of S$1,200 every six months (2.5% of the Sum Insured). Ms. Lim decides not to withdraw the coupons from her policy to accumulate interest with the Company. Maturity payout She pays an annual FlexiPay premium of S$11,778 for 5 years. Total FlexiPay Premium paid S$58,892. Year 0 Year 5 Year 10 With an annual premium commitment of around S$11,778, payable for 5 years, she would have access to the following funds after 10 years to meet her needs. 7 1 Choices for later life, the 2015 Singapore Report shares views of 1,000 respondents in Singapore based on a survey conducted in July and August The report is available on 2 Capital guaranteed at maturity comprises the sum of total guaranteed coupons and guaranteed maturity benefit.
