1 Dean s Dashbard [BETA] Prduct Visin Fr: Wh: The: Is: That: Unlike: This Prduct: Deans Wuld like t manage their Clleges effectively Deans Dashbard A set f visualizatins delivered via n a weekly basis Prvide key infrmatin and metrics Cmpiling data frm different surces and merging them tgether in spreadsheets Can be accessed nline r n mbile devices, is secure, and pulls data frm the data warehuse The Dean s Dashbard is a cllectin f several high-level metrics frm different business areas acrss the University (eg. Enrllment, Research, Finance, HR, Fund Raising). Subscribers receive it via at the beginning f every week cntaining the mst current data in the data warehuse. Each user will have a different view f the dashbard depending n his/her cllege affiliatin r psitin at the University. If the user is affiliated with a specific cllege, then nly metrics fr the Cllege will be shwn. If the user has a rle that can see acrss all 10 clleges, then the metrics are aggregated fr all the 10 clleges. The user can chse t click n any f the visualizatins n the and be redirected t the server where interactivity is allwed and links t ther visualizatins with mre detail are prvided. Admissins - The Admissins tab f the Dean's Dashbard prvides a high-level view f the Admissins activity f a Cllege. It shws 4 metrics: Applicatin Cunt as f the current date, Applicatin Cunt as f the same day in the previus year, the Increase r Decrease between thse cunts, and Ttal Applicatins in the previus year. These metrics are shwn fr 4 admissin statuses - - Applied, Admitted, Cming and Denied. (sample screen sht) Prjected Revenue fr Undergraduate curses - The Undergrad Revenue tab f the Dean's Dashbard is a prjectin f revenues that the Cllege will make based n the cst per credit (determined by the Budget Office) and the number f undergraduate credits taught by the Cllege. It als cmpares the number f credits in the current fiscal year with the number f credits in the previus fiscal year by Department and by Budget Campus.

2 Research expenditures - Shws metrics related t research: Ttal Expenditures and Indirect Csts as f the same perid in the year, Ttal Expenditures and Indirect Csts by Fiscal Year, Award Cunt by Fiscal Year, and Cunt f PIs with active awards by Fiscal Year. (sample screen sht) General Ledger Revenues & Expenditures - Shws the incme statement items fr the 10 Clleges: Actuals vs Annual Budget fr the current and previus Fiscal Years fr Revenue, the Tp 3 Cmpensatin Expenditures, and Nn-Cmpensatin expenditures. (sample screen sht) Emplyee Prfile Prvides a cunt f active emplyees in the Cllege and its cmpsitin (tenure, full-time status and lcatin). It als prvides the amunt spent fr Overtime pay in the Cllege fr the current and previus fiscal years.

3 Missing Grades - The Missing Grades tab f the Dean's Dashbard shws the tp 10 departments in the Cllege with the highest number f unsubmitted grades fr the last 7 terms. (sample screen sht) Annual Attainment - The Annual Attainment / Cash Received dashbard prvides a summary view f fundraising metrics by fiscal year. This dashbard further differentiates between Ttal Attainment (cmmitments and utright gifts) and Cash Received (utright gifts and payments n existing cmmitments). Additinally, this dashbard displays summary ttal fr different allcatin uses within the current fiscal year. Campaign Perfrmance - The Campaign Perfrmance dashbard prvides a summary view f fundraising metrics during the 'Making Histry' campaign. This dashbard allws the user t cmpare a running ttal f dllars raised against mnth-by-mnth perfrmance. Additinally, it segregates dnatin values by Campaign Pillar, Campaign Use, and Entity Type. 4 Divisin Dashbard [BETA] Prduct Visin Fr: Divisin executives Wh: Wuld like t manage their divisins effectively The: Divisin Dashbard Is an: Interactive and visualizatin tl That: Prvides key infrmatin and metrics Unlike: Cmpiling data frm different surces and merging them tgether in spreadsheets This Prduct: Can be accessed nline r n mbile devices, is secure, and pulls data frm the data warehuse The Divisin Dashbard is similar t the Dean s Dashbard except that it des nt include metrics fr the academic side. It nly includes Research, Finance, HR, and Fund Raising. Subscribers receive it via at the beginning f every week cntaining the mst current data in the data warehuse. Develped by BIS using data frm the ARMS system, the GW Crime Trends and Lcatins is displayed in multiple cntexts with filters fr Time Perid, Case Type, Crime Class, Crime, and Building: Trend by Year Prvides the year ver year trends fr Crime Enfrcement and Service Calls answered by the UPD. The cunt f applicatins nw takes int cnsideratin the different stages it ges thrugh as time ges n. Previusly, nly the final admissin decisin status was cnsidered. New decisin cdes were added t Banner t track applicants wh have cmmitted t cme but have nt enrlled (called Melt) and thse wh have nt frmally accepted their admissin ffer. Nn-Payrll Labr Distributin Fact Table * This fact table in the HR Decisin Center brings in all pay date ccurrences f nn-payrll data activity (eg. Retirement Plan Cntributins, FICA Cntributins, Health Insurance, etc.) t be used fr reprting and analysis. I-9 Published Data Surce (Tableau) ** A data surce has been created fr HR Infrmatin Systems (HRIS) in rder fr them t build the Quarterly I-9 Cmpliance dashbard which shws the number f emplyees with delinquent I-9 s (frm used by the USCIS t verify an emplyee s identity and establish that the wrker is eligible t accept emplyment in the United States). Develped by the DAR Technical Services grup using data frm the Advancement Decisin Center, the Annual Giving Dashbard is displayed in three cntexts: Direct Marketing Prvides reprting and data analysis tls n mass-marketing slicitatins. Slicitatins are displayed by funds raised, dnr cunts, slicitatin types, annual cmparisns, and return n investment. Annual Giving Perfrmance Displays summary metrics f current-use dnatins under $50,000. These metrics highlight funds raised, dnr cunts, dnatin ranges, initiatives, dnr types, and individual university allcatin perfrmance. Dnr Retentin Tracks rates at which entities cntinue t dnate in cnsecutive years. Shwn annually fr all dnrs and specifically fr alumni dnrs by generatin, this displays the number and rate f dnrs that give in multiple years. The Advancement Decisin Center cnsists f data extracted frm the Advancement system at the clse f every business day. The Develpment and Alumni Relatins Office (Develpment Officers, Alumni Relatins, Advancement Services and the DAR Executive Team) are the primary users f the Decisin Center. [By law, n grant funds may be used t pay an individual wrking n a US Department f Health and Human Services funded prject at a rate in excess f the Federal Executive Level II Pay Scale.
