7 Educatin Early Stage Researchers Researchers Shall at the time f recruitment (ITN, COFUND) r secndment (RISE), be in the first fur years (full-time equivalent) f their research careers and have nt yet been awarded a dctral degree. Experienced Researchers Shall, at the time f the relevant deadline fr submissin f prpsals (IF), recruitment (COFUND) r secndment (RISE), be in pssessin f a dctral degree r have at least fur years f full-time equivalent research experience. Natinality, residence Lng-term residence means a perid f full-time research activity f at least 5 cnsecutive years.

Abve this minimum, the participatin f institutins frm any cuntry r rganisatin is pssible. EID : at least ne beneficiary must be entitled t award dctral degrees and at least ne beneficiary must cme frm the nn-academic sectr EJD : at least three beneficiaries must be entitled t award dctral degrees. Limit : ETN and EJD, recruitment f a maximum 540 persn-mnths (EID180). Nt mre than 40% f the prject budget shall be dedicated t hsts in the same cuntry (except fr EID).
