Management are however hopeful that business will pick with the improvement in the income levels among the local population. The company is currently operating below its breakeven point and is targeting to breakeven within six months. (a) For each proposal calculate: (i) The break-even position in units and in value terms. (ii) The number of units required to be sold in order to meet the profit target.
