10 Verification of documents Determining the eligibility for a VET Student Loan is the responsibility of the training provider Training providers are required to maintain documentary evidence The department s full privacy policy is available at

11 Tax File Number verification - ecaf Effective from 1 July 2018 ecaf test site includes this function from 21 May 2018 Soft release verification functionality Once introduced, students will not be prevented from submitting their ecaf if the TFN does not verify, but will be prompted to confirm their details with the ATO. TFN handling Privacy Act 1988 regulates the collection, storage, use, disclosure, security and disposal of TFNs legally binding and penalties apply for misuse or non-compliance.
