Validity Date EMV chip: is global standard Europay Mastercard Visa (EMV) chip technology that will helps to improve the payment security for your credit card and protect cardholders against fraud for purchases made at the point of sale. If you currently have a Shinhan magnetic stripe card, when your card is expired, it will be auto-renewed by a Shinhan EMV chip card for free. In case your magnetic stripe card is till valid, you can request to replace it with a new EMV chip card by calling Contact Center at (re-issuing fee is VND 220,000). 03

5 USING YOUR SHINHAN VISA CREDIT CARD 1 Activating your card As soon as you receive your new credit card, choose one of below methods to activate it: Text ACT<space><4 last card digists> to 6089 Call Contact Center at Visit Shinhan branch/transaction office and provide your National ID/Passport 2 Changing PIN number After you receive your new credit card, the default PIN number will be sent to your registered address. You can use this PIN or create a PIN of your choice by visiting Shinhan branches/ transaction offices. This PIN number is required for ATM transactions or Verified By Visa service registration up on making online transactions. 3 Purchasing Goods and Services When you make payment with your Shinhan Visa Credit card, your transaction details are sent from the retailer or service provider to Shinhan. Your available credit limit is then reduced by the amount of the transaction and the details are recorded on your Shinhan Visa Credit card statement. It is important to carefully check the transaction details and sign the sales slip that is printed from POS terminal. Please retain a copy of the charge slip for future reference. 05

6 USING YOUR SHINHAN VISA CREDIT CARD 4 Online Your Shinhan Visa Credit card can also be used for online purchases on e-commerce websites. Shinhan Bank Vietnam provides Verified by Visa (VbV) service giving you extra security when you shop online with your Shinhan Visa Credit card. For those websites supporting this service, please: Create your VbV password. After completely setting your VbV password, you can apply it for the next online transactions on websites that require this password. How to register your VbV (Verified by Visa): 1 At the payment page on e-commerce website, select Visa card and input your personal information. 2 At card verification page, input payment information including: your card number, expiry date, CVV2 number and PIN number (6 digits) 3 At VbV password registration page, please: accept VbV Terms and Conditions; create your Identification Memo (no space) which help you to remember your VbV password; create your VbV password (a combination of letters and numbers, at least 6 digits and no space); re-enter VbV password and finish the password creation process. 4 Input your VbV password created in step 3 to complete your online payment. If you have already registered VbV password before, you will be directed straight to Step 4 5 At ATM Your Shinhan Visa Credit card can be used to make cash withdrawal /cash advance at Shinhan ATMs or any ATM displaying the Visa/Plus logo all around the world. Cash withdrawal transaction: is to withdraw cash from the registered Shinhan Debit Account linked to your Shinhan Visa Credit card. Cash advance transaction: is to withdraw cash from your available credit limit. Steps to make transaction at ATM* 1 Insert your card into the card slot on ATM. 2 Enter your PIN number (6 digits) on the Password screen. 3 Choose Withdrawal. 4 Select Account type: - Cash withdrawal transaction: choose Payment - Cash advance transaction: choose Credit or Default 5 Enter the amount you wish to withdraw/get cash advance. 6 Take your cash and transaction receipt (if any). * The display and wordings may be different depending on each kind of ATM. 06

9 SHINHAN VISA CREDIT CARD SERVICES Samsung Pay Samsung Pay is a mobile payment service designed for Samsung smartphones, enabling customer to integrate Shinhan card information into his/her Samsung mobile device to make fast and secured transactions just by simply tap the device on the terminal (POS) at almost all retailers. Gone are the days of searching through your wallet or purse or finding the right cards. In addition, Samsung Pay adds a level of security to your payment information that physical cards don't have. This service is applied to all kinds of Shinhan Credit cards. How to use Samsung Pay: SWIPE Swipe up to launch Samsung pay AUTHENTICATE Select your Shinhan card and authorize payment with your fingerprint/lrises or PIN SWIPE Tap your mobile on the side of the card reader device How to install Samsung Pay: please visit Bill payment service via Shinhan Visa Credit card Now, it is so easy to make payment for your various monthly service bills with Shinhan Visa Credit card bill payment service. Depending on your demand, you can register single payment or monthly auto payment for free. The bill payment transactions shall not be applicable for Shinhan Rewards program. 15 SETTLING YOUR VISA CREDIT CARD BALANCE Understand your Shinhan Credit Card Statement You will receive your Shinhan Credit Card statement on monthly basis. This statement will include: Payment History: This section provides the summary information about outstanding balance and payment amounts in the previous statement cycle. Statement Period: This is the period when transactions were made, recoreded to the system and shown on the statement. Payment due date: The date by which the required payment (at least the minimum payment amount) must be made to avoid late charges. Closing Balance: This section provides the total amount you own, inclusive of purchase, cash advance, fee/charge, due Installment Plan(s) and/or Flexicash balance (if any). Minimum payment amount: This is the minimum amount you are required to pay. Reward Program: This section provides the total amount of Shinhan Points/ Shinhan Miles/ Cash Back earned in last month, this month, and total available reward. Transaction Details: This section provides details of all payments, purchases, cash advances, cash withdrawal, installment plans, FlexiCash, generated fees and charges within statement. If you find a charge on your statement that you do not recognize, please call Shinhan Contact center at Transaction Date: The date when the transaction was made Date Processed: The date when the transaction was recorded to Shinhan Bank system Always read your statement carefully and make payment by the due date. Auto debit Applied for the Cardholders who have demand account at Shinhan and registered the auto debit service. Shinhan shall automatically debit the amount as the payment rate you registered from such demand account on your payment due date. Please kindly maintain the sufficient account balance on your payment due day. * If you have not yet registered, please kindly visit any Shinhan branch/ transaction office to register the auto debit service. ** For ANZ credit cards which were already registered the auto debit service previously, this service would be continued at Shinhan. *** In case your account balance is not sufficient for the Minimum Payment amount on your payment due date, then your card shall be considered as late payment. After Payment due date, Shinhan shall continue to collect the overdue Minimum amount on your account balance. Cash deposit at Sacombank (free charge) You can visit any Sacombank branch/ transaction office in their opening time. Shinhan Internet Banking This payment method is only applied to customers with 100% revolving rate. Please log into Shinhan Internet Banking, using Card Payment service from 08:00 16:00 on working days. Notice: Drop box service Only applied at the former ANZ branches/transaction offices You can cash deposit by: Step 1: Fill in the payment envelope with all following information: (1) Cardholder s Name as on ID card or Passport (2) 16-digits shown on your credit card (3) Payment amount (Max VND30 million/envelope, VND100 million/day) (4) ID and Telephone number (5) Designated person s information (if any) Step 2: Put cash into the envelope, seal and put it in the Drop box at the branches/transaction offices before 16:30 on the payment due date. * Please kindly keep a copy of payment receipt. ** In case there is difference between the filled payment amount and the actual received amount, the actual amount that Shinhan receives shall prevail. You must make payment for at least the Minimum Payment Amount as shown on your monthly Card Statement before or on your Payment due date. In case you fails to make payment for at least the Minimum Payment Amount on your payment due date, you will be registered overdue status. Interest shall be charged only when you fail to pay the full Statement Balance on or before the Due Date. Interest is calculated from the registration date until the actual payment date of the Transaction(s). If you make payment by depositing or trasfering via Card number, Shinhan will auto debit your outstanding balance (except unbilled Installment or Flexicash amount) 17

Card inquiry: - General information: total/remaining limit, total/remaining cash advance limit, payment rate, payment due date, payment account. - Card list, statement details, transaction history, payment history and Shinhan reward program information. Card payment: - Make payment for statement amount or for each transaction. - Processing time: 8:00 16:00 on working day *Note: This only apply to customer with 100% revolving rate. Installment and cash advance can t be paid in advance for each transaction. Registration for additional phone number will be processed at Shinhan branches. SMS service registration can be modified on IB/MB. SMS service cancellation has to be processed at Shinhan branches. 20 SECURITY TIPS 1 2 DO NOT reveal your Card information or your PIN Do not lend or share your card information with anyone else. Do not disclose any information, if you receive bogus calls claiming to be from Shinhan that encourage you to disclose personal or account information. Change your PIN regularly for precaution. Do not keep your credit card together with your PIN. When selecting your PIN, avoid picking a number that is easy to guess (date of birth, phone...). CAREFULLY preserve and regularly check your Card to against loss and theft Make sure you sign your Shinhan Visa Credit card, and always keep it safe. Keep your card within your sight and don't allow merchants to take your card away for an extended period of time. Make sure your card is returned to you promptly after a transaction Immediately call , if you don't recognise or have questions about any transactions on your credit card statement. 3 DO NOT respond to suspicious s Delete any suspicious s, including ones which you do not recognise the sender. Shinhan will never send you an asking you to disclose personal information, bank details, passwords, PIN, or send a courier to your home to collect your card/ PIN. Please let us know if this happens.
