We reserve the right to make any changes we deem necessary, cancel a class if it doesn t meet the minimum number, change the location of your child s class and the teacher they will have. We also reserve the right to cancel a day/days due to inclement weather, acts of God or any unforeseen emergencies. No refunds will be made due to inclement weather, an act of God or unforeseen emergencies. We will make every effort to make up these days if at all possible. 2 HEALTH REQUIREMENTS CHILD S NAME of Birth: IMMUNIZATIONS Please attach a copy of all current immunizations for this child, it must be signed or stamped by a physician or health care professional. Note: If medical diagnosis and treatment and/or immunization and TB testing conflict with your religious beliefs, you must sign an affidavit to that effect and attach it to this form. Please go to to download this form and instructions. If immunization and/or TB testing would be injurious to your child or family, you must obtain a certificate (signed by a physician) to that effect and attach it to this form. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS One of the following must be presented when your child is admitted to school or within one week of admission. Check the box to indicate the option you select: Doctor s Statement: I have examined the above named child within the past year and find that he/she is physically able to participate in the program. Physician s Signature Parent s statement: My child has been examined within the past year by a licensed physician and is able to participate in the program. I will provide the school with a copy of my child s current immunization record. This is required when your child is entering their second year at Paddington. List any special problems that your child might have such as allergies, existing illness, previous serious illness, injuries during the past 12 months, medications prescribed for long term continuous use, and any other information that the staff should be aware of. 3 REGISTRATION/APPLICATION FEE PADDINGTON BRITISH PRIVATE SCHOOL REGISTRATION, TUITION, AND REFUND POLICIES Registration for the coming school year is held in February and open to the private waiting list and public at the end of the month. This fee is due each school year. Students enrolling after February of the school year will receive a reduced rate. Registration/Application Fee: (THIS FEE IS NOT REFUNDABLE) $250 Existing Students $275 New Students $200 New Siblings WAIVER OF REGISTRATION FEE We waive our registration fee if you transfer to Paddington DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR from another school in The Woodlands or Oak Ridge area. A copy of your cancelled check or a formal receipt from your previous school showing that you paid their registration fee MUST be given to the office in order to receive a waiver. Moving to The Woodlands from another state or town does not constitute a waiver of the registration fee. TUITION FEES OUR SCHOOL YEAR BEGINS IN AUGUST Our tuition fees are calculated and based on the school year and NOT on the number of days or weeks in the month. They are then, for your convenience, broken down into ten equal monthly payments and are due by the 7 th of each month. No reduction is given for national holidays, Acts of God, or days your child is absent, or any family vacations no matter how long the duration. Arrangements or a post-dated check must be organized with the school office before you depart on any long vacation. Tuition Fees are NOT TRANSFERABLE to any other program, month, class or child. WE DO NOT send out statements, however, we do remind you monthly in our Paddington Newsletter. AUGUST TUITION and SUPPLY FEES are due by JUNE 1 st each year to secure your child s place in class. If we do not receive your child s tuition by the due date you will risk losing his/her place. Jr. Clubs, Kids Club, and Playtime fees are due when you start school in August. Your final MAY TUITION is also due in AUGUST and will be considered late if not paid by the 25 th. Once paid, there will be no fees due in May, unless enrolled in Jr. Explorer Clubs, Kids Club (lunch bunch) Playtime, or if you have an outstanding balance. LATE FEE/PAST DUE ACCOUNTS There is a $35.00 late fee charged to your account if your payment is received after the 7 th of each month. This fee will accrue for each month you are late. There will be NO exceptions made. If your tuition is more than 2 months past due, the school reserves the right to ask you to withdraw your child and your account will be sent to a collection agency. RETURNED CHECK FEES If your check is returned by the bank, you will be required to pay your tuition and returned check fee of $35 IN CASH. 1.

4 CALENDAR HOLIDAYS Our Fall semester starts in August, then follows a similar schedule to the Conroe Independent School District for holidays. Please see the Paddington School Calendar for more information INCLEMENT WEATHER DAYS Should this happen, the school office will notify you of the make-up days. FALL TUITION REFUND POLICY (Registration Fee is non-refundable) If your circumstances change and you find you will not be attending Paddington in the FALL, please note the following refund policies: 1. A full refund will be given if we receive written notice prior to June 2 nd. 2. A 50% refund will be given if we receive written notice after June 2 nd, but prior to July 1 st. 3. We regret no refunds will be given for notice received after July 1 st. 4. Tuition Fees are NOT TRANSFERABLE to any other program, month, class or child When you enroll in Paddington and pay your registration/application fee, you are making a commitment for the entire school year August-May. If you leave the school BEFORE the end of the school year you must give the school office 30 DAYS WRITTEN AND PAID NOTICE. Also applicable, we must be able to fill your child s spot in order for you to receive a refund on your May tuition. If you fail to give the school the required 30 days notice, you WILL forfeit this tuition. We regret that no refund on May tuition will be given after March 1 st, as it is too late in the school year to fill your child s spot especially in the Kindergarten and Pre-K classes.
