These guidelines can be obtained from While submitting the Tender, the offer must be submitted in sealed envelope and envelope should be marked in the following format Tenders For Supply Of Bunk Beds June Your Tender should be addressed to the, Walchand College of Engineering, Vishrambag, Sangli (Maharashtra State). Your sealed envelope should contain the detailed product specifications, literature, all the documents needed to fulfill the terms and conditions mentioned in later part of this document and document properly filled with the competitive price offered, duly signed and stamp sealed on each page otherwise it is liable for rejection. Earnest money deposit of Rs. 10, (In words Rs. Ten thousand only) in the form of Nationalized bank D.D. favoring, Walchand College of engineering, Sangli payable at Sangli. The place of delivery should be at College site and delivery period should not exceed more than 2 weeks from the date of Purchase Order. Please note that the last date for submission of Tender is 10 th June 2013 at 12:30 p.m. and will be opened on 10 th June p.m. at Office, Walchand College of engineering, Sangli. You are requested to pay Rs. 2,000/- (Rs. Two Thousand only) towards cost of tender form by a demand draft in favor of, Walchand College of Engineering payable at Sangli along with each tender. 3 Terms and Conditions: 1. should be authorized ISO certified. The item quoted should be internationally recognized and branded. 2. The should submit the documentary proof for the execution of the three orders for the supply of the similar items approximately of the same amount as quoted in his offer. The should provide credentials for satisfactory installation, commissioning, maintenance of the goods supplied in last two years. 3. The should submit the proof that he is running the business and/or necessary service centre for last 3 years. 4. The should submit the Solvency Certificate from any nationalized bank of the total price quoted. 5. shall not assign or sublet the contract to any other sub-vendor. 9. Bid Price a) The contract shall be for the full quantity as described above. Corrections, if any, shall be made by crossing out, initializing, dating and re writing in words. b) All duties, taxes and other levies etc. as applicable are payable by the supplier under the contract and shall be included in the total price. The octroi paid receipt should be on the name of, Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli. c) The rates quoted by the shall be fixed for the duration of the contract and shall not be subject to adjustment on any account. d) The prices should be quoted in Indian Rupees only. 10 Each shall submit only one Tender. 11 should enclose his latest valid Income Tax clearance certificate along with his MST/CST VAT Registration No. and Certificate. 12 Validity of Tender Tender shall remain valid for 30 days after the deadline date specified for submission. 13 Evaluation of Tenders The Purchaser will evaluate and compare the Tenders determined to be substantially responsive i.e. which (a) are properly signed and DD of Rs 2,000/- towards cost of tender form (b) (c) (d) (e) Conform to the terms and conditions, and specifications Evaluation and Comparison of bids shall be done on basic price with charges like transportation, freight and insurance, training, commissioning, installation etc. excluding all taxes. Ten Thousand only) in the form of Nationalized bank D.D. favoring, Walchand College of engineering, Sangli payable at Sangli. 14 Award of contract The Purchaser will award the contract to the whose Tender has been determined to be substantially responsive and who has offered the lowest evaluated Tender price. 15 A) Not withstanding the above, the Purchaser reserves the right to accept or reject any Tenders and/or to cancel the bidding process and/or reject all Tenders at any time prior to the award of contract. B) The whose bid is accepted will be notified of the award of contract by the Purchaser prior to expiration of the Tender validity period. 4 The complete delivery of all the items should be within 15 days from the date of Purchase order. The penalty for delay in proportion to the cost of equipment (usually at rate of 1% for first 10 days, 2% for next 10 days; for equipment below 5 lacs and 2% and 3% subsequently for equipment above 5 lacs) shall be charged. In case of delay, more than 20 days, order shall automatically stand cancelled. 16 Payment will be made immediately after delivery of the goods in following mode: 80% against delivery at site and 10% after satisfactory Installation. Remaining 10% as Performance Security payable at the end of warranty period or on submission of the Bank Guarantee and undertaking for the said amount. 17 Normal commercial warranty/ guarantee shall be applicable to the supplied goods as follows. For 36 months from date of satisfactory Installation/acceptance. Maintenance and/or repair of supplied goods for a period of three years after the end of warranty period. 18 In case of dispute, persons appointed by WCE will act as Conciliator. All legal disputes are subject to the Jurisdiction of Sangli court only. 19 Right to change any clause fully or partially in the terms and conditions mentioned above and right to cancel any Tender without giving any reason is reserved with, Walchand College of Engineering, Sangli.
