9 What is Net Worth? Definition: A key measure of how much an entity or individual is worth. A consistent increase in net worth indicates good financial health. Assets Liabilities = Net Worth Source: Investopedia.com

11 What is Debt to Income Ratio (DTI)? Definition: A personal finance measure that compares an individual s debt payment to his or her overall income. DTI is one way lenders measure an individual s ability to manage monthly payment and repay debt. Recurring Monthly Debt Gross Monthly Income = Debt-to-Income Ratio Did You Notice? DTI did not include your entire budget! Never rely on a lender to ensure that you can afford that loan payment! Source: Investopedia.com
