3 Pricing Guide 1. Unlimited Pricing Option* If you want to know your fees upfront and do your banking mainly using FNB s electronic channels, this option is for you. For a fixed monthly fee of R89.00 per month you get unlimited electronic transactions no matter how many you do. Should you ever choose to use a branch, rather than one of our electronic channels, you may do so (even though this option is designed for electronic transactions). A fee for a posted statement will be introduced with effect from 1 January Customers who do not have access to can still obtain a free monthly statement from a Branch, Online or Telephone Banking. 2. Fee Manager Option This option is suitable if you wish to know your service fees up-front and do not want to monitor bank charges. For a fixed fee of R75.00 per month you will receive 10 qualifying transactions, which includes: Cheques, debit orders, linked account transfers, account payments, scheduled payments and transfers, FNB ATM and Mini ATM cash withdrawals, branch cash withdrawals, cheque or debit card purchases, petrol card purchases and prepaid purchases. Should you have more than 10 of the above mentioned transactions, the additional items will be charged for at a per item fee of R10.00 per item. An additional monthly Exchange Control Admin Fee of R11.00 will be levied on Non Resident Cheque accounts. There are additional charges for the following transactions which will be charged for at the Pay as You Use rate tables detailed in this document. These transactions are: Cash deposit at an FNB Branch, Saswitch transactions (when you use non-fnb ATMs), balance enquiry in a branch or Telephone Banking (consultant assisted), as well as cash handling fees on branch cash withdrawal, special instructions and penalty fees. In the interests of the environment, FNB is encouraging the use of ed statements instead of posted paper statements. A fee for a posted statement will be introduced with effect from 1 January Customers who do not have access to can still obtain a free monthly statement from a Branch, Online or Telephone Banking. Please note that all Cellphone and Telephone Banking transactions as well as prepaid purchases through any of our electronic channels will not count towards your 10 qualifying transactions. The following transactions are completely free: FNB ATM cash deposits (normal ATM only), prepaid purchases using any of FNB s electronic channels i.e. FNB ATMs, Cellphone Banking, Online and Telephone Banking (IVR and Speech) and FNB ATM balance enquiries. Cellphone Banking transactions which include account payments, transfers, prepaid purchases, statements and balance enquiries. 7 3. Fee Saver Option This option is ideal if you are able to keep a balance of R or more in your account. Should you choose this fee structure: No service fees are charged on the first 35 transactions, except for cash deposits at an FNB branch, ATM mini statements and Saswitch transactions (when you use non-fnb ATMs), balance enquiries in a branch or Telephone Banking (consultant assisted) as well as cash handling fees on branch cash withdrawals, special instructions and penalty fees. These are charged for at Pay as You Use rates tabled below. The 35 transactions may include a maximum of 5 branch cash withdrawals (cash handling fees are still payable). Should your balance drop below R at any time, during the month, you will be charged at the full service fee, as at the Pay as you Use rates, as well as the monthly account fee of R All Cellphone and Telephone Banking transactions as well as prepaid purchases through any of our electronic channels are not included in the 35 free transaction limit.
